don't use them for anything you need on time. I ordered hampers for a Friday team meet-up, paid a fair bit for a 'premium' option, and it completely missed the point by turning up days later. I needed those boxes because our remote team were all in one place for a catch-up and a small celebration — that was the whole reason I spent extra. Instead I ended up re-posting bits myself and eating the cost (and the faff), which left me pretty annoyed and a bit embarrassed in front of colleagues.
Was the product itself nice? Yes, mostly. But that's beside the point if it arrives when no one is there. Communication was weak — I told them the date, they acknowledged it, then the delivery company somehow failed. They shrug and point to the courier, but choosing a reliable shipper is part of the service, surely. A discount on a future order was offered as compensation; that doesn't help when you've already lost time and money now. I get that mistakes happen, and people were polite when I chased, but politeness didn't fix the problem. In the end I wouldn't rely on them for time-critical gifts or events. If you want something for a deadline, I'd look elsewhere, or at least get written assurance and perhaps a backup plan. Bit disappointed, but it's honest: decent hamper, poor delivery experience.Decent contents, rubbish timing
I wouldn’t trust them with a specific delivery date. I ordered a £90 Christmas hamper in mid-December, paid an extra £5.99 for delivery and clearly chose 23 December because the family were away until the 22nd. First impression of the website and checkout was fine, simple enough, so I assumed the rest would be straightforward. Fast forward and the hamper arrives on the 20th — not hand-delivered, but lobbed over a six-foot gate and left to sit in the rain. I remember thinking, halfway down the path, “this can’t be right” and then went and saw the soggy mess. If the fall didn’t smash things, the weather would. I contacted customer service and got a generic reply about peak times and hard-to-reach addresses; they even suggested the area might be difficult, which is a stretch when it’s near Southend. So now I’ve had to buy another present, and the whole thing feels like they were happy to take the cash but not to own up. The hamper itself might have been fine under normal delivery, so not everything was awful — just the execution and the response were truly poor.
Left out and melted
I was genuinely surprised at first. There was a small handwritten note tucked in the box that felt personal, like someone had taken a second to think about the recipient. That made the whole thing seem promising, especially since I’d ordered the hamper as a simple celebration for my sister’s birthday — something to arrive while I was working from home and to brighten a quiet afternoon. Instead, the rest of it was a mess. The delivery turned up late and then, inexplicably, the parcel was left in a recycling bin in direct sun. Two of us were in the house all day; no knock, no call, nothing. The real problem, and the part that annoys me most, was the state of the food. Wax from the cheeses had melted and dripped onto other items. It looked spoiled and felt unhygienic. I couldn’t hand it over as a present. For something sold as a premium food gift this is a basic fail — packaging and temperature control matter. I get that couriers make mistakes. I don’t buy the whole “third-party” brush-off though. Customer service replies were polite, yes, but very template-like. They kept referring to policy and I never felt anyone acknowledged that food safety was at stake. That lack of ownership was more frustrating than the late delivery itself. On the plus side, one of the preserves inside was actually really good — tasted homemade, which was a nice surprise and almost redeemed it for me, if only slightly. In daily life I rely on reliable suppliers when I’m sending something for family occasions; you can’t have this kind of inconsistency. I won’t use this company again until they sort out their packing and take clearer responsibility when things go wrong. A decent note and a tasty jar aren’t enough to make up for melted wax and poor handling.
Fireside hamper
What a disappointment, last year i had an issue and it was sorted, this year i ordered over £250 pounds worth.
They came today and what a joke, no hamper cheap basket, ... packing . Now i need to reshopTea hamper for sister-in-law's 80th birthday
I ordered a really nice afternoon tea hamper for my sister-in-law's 80th birthday, along with a birthday card, and guess what? It never arrived! Can you believe it? I mean, seriously, how difficult is it to deliver a hamper with a card? I was really let down and my sister-in-law missed out on her birthday surprise. It was not a great situation at all.
Long-distance gift purchase
Finding out that I could buy things online in my country was a real game-changer for me! Since I live far from my daughter, it was such a relief to be able to send her a nice gift. The whole ordering process was easy and stress-free, and I'm sure she's going to love the hamper. Thanks for making it possible to stay connected with loved ones in such a meaningful way.
International gift hampers
We live in Australia and have used this service a few times a year to send gifts to our family in the UK. We're really happy with how easy it is to use and how lovely the hampers look. Our family always enjoys the gifts we send, and we couldn't be more pleased with the service we've received.
Hampers for friends and family abroad
I've been using this company to send hampers to my friends and family overseas for years, and they've never let me down. The products are always top-notch and the recipients have always loved them. I've tried other companies on the high street in the past and always had problems with late deliveries or damaged items, but that's never been an issue with this company. So, big thanks for your reliable service and great products.
Quality hampers, exceptional products, spoil recipients
I've been a loyal customer of this company for a while now, using their hampers to celebrate special occasions and lift the spirits of my friends. Every time, I'm amazed by the high quality of the products and the impressive presentation. Everyone who has received one of these hampers has told me how spoiled they felt. I can honestly say that these hampers surpass those from bigger, more famous brands. Keep up the amazing work!
Super easy to send hampers to my fam!
I absolutely adore this website! It's super easy to use and the hampers look fantastic. I'm really excited to see my family's reaction and have a lovely Christmas! Cheers!
Christmas gift delivery
I bought a Christmas gift hamper from this company to send to a friend in Manchester. Even though I live in Brisbane, Australia, I found it really easy and convenient. The hamper had champagne and chocolate, which my friend really enjoyed. The delivery was quick and on time, and I was happy with both the quality of the products and the service from the company. I would definitely suggest their products and services to anyone wanting to send gifts from far away.
Hampers purchase from the E.U.
I've recently ordered three different hampers in various sizes and I must say, I was really impressed with the quality and service provided by the customer service team. One of the items did arrive a bit late because it was being delivered to the Isle of Man, but the team was super helpful in sorting it out for me. I've used Fortnum & Mason and John Lewis in the past, but Prestige is definitely giving them a run for their money.
Last-minute hamper purchase
I ordered a hamper at the last minute and was really happy with how quickly it was delivered. The website was easy to use, and Hannah's customer service was top-notch. I was a bit worried at first because I didn't get a VAT invoice, but Hannah sorted that out for me during an online chat. I would definitely recommend this company, overall a great experience.
Birthday hamper delivery
I was really let down by the service from this company. I had ordered a birthday hamper to be delivered on a certain date, but it didn't arrive when it was supposed to. When I got in touch with customer service, they told me that the delivery date isn't guaranteed, which wasn't made clear when I placed my order. This lack of honesty is not on, and I won't be using this company again in the future.
Three hampers ordered
I ordered three hampers, but at first, I only got two. So, I got in touch with customer service and they said they'd send a replacement. In the end, I got the missing hamper and the replacement. Angela was really helpful and quick to sort everything out.
Late delivery, missing cheese
After feeling a bit let down by the late delivery and the missing cheese from Prestige Hampers, we were really impressed by how they made it up to us by sending extra items. Their communication and customer service were top-notch, and we're feeling happy with how they handled the situation. It just goes to show that a reliable business is one that owns up to mistakes and sorts them out, which is exactly what Prestige did in this case.
Lovely hampers selection
The hampers here are really lovely and priced quite reasonably. Unfortunately, I had a bit of trouble when I tried to pay on my phone. The payment page didn't show up right, which was annoying, but I was able to finish my order on my laptop instead.
Easter chocolate box orders for grandchildren
I ordered eight chocolate box hampers for my grandchildren for Easter, after getting Christmas hampers for my kids before and they loved them. So I thought the Easter hampers would be just as good. But I was let down this time. The chocolate boxes had cheap chocolates inside instead of the fancy ones I was expecting. The presentation was also disappointing, not much thought seemed to have gone into it. The Easter hampers didn't match up to the Christmas ones, and I felt disappointed in the end.
Afternoon tea hamper purchase
I bought an afternoon tea hamper from this company not long ago, and I have to say, it was a bit of a letdown. The hamper got sent back by Royal Mail, claiming it was rejected by the person I sent it to, but that wasn't true at all. When I got in touch with the company about it, they didn't seem to get what went wrong and wouldn't give me a refund or send another hamper even though the mistake wasn't mine. The customer service was pretty useless and it left me feeling annoyed and unsatisfied with the whole thing.
Long-distance gift hamper purchase
I recently got a gift hamper from this company for my parents who live on the other side of the world. It was such a breeze to order, thanks to the easy-to-use website. They had a great selection of products, and I managed to find the perfect hamper for my parents. The way the hamper was presented was top-notch, and my parents were over the moon with how beautifully it was packaged. They couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food items were and how much they enjoyed having a treat. I can't be with my parents to celebrate in person, so it's nice to know they received such a fantastic gift that made them happy.
