I received a tree as a gift as well, and I've now given two trees to my friends. I love getting updates about my tree and my friends' trees - it's really cool. I had an issue once, but the customer service was super quick and friendly. It was great!
Tree purchase
The idea of Treedom sounded pretty good from the start, with loads of different trees to pick from and easy to understand info about what each one does. But, when it came to actually buying and sending trees to a bunch of people, the website layout wasn't all that user-friendly. I started doubting if it was a con because I wasn't sure if all the good stuff they were saying was really true. On a brighter note, the person from customer service who chatted with me was quick to respond, and some of the negative comments on the website got some comforting replies.
Quick resolution
The customer service team at this company sorted out my issue really quickly. I was really impressed by how efficient and professional they were. The Treedom platform is so easy to use and reliable, it's made me trust their services completely. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient service.
Tree Planting
My town and cities were getting deforested due to urbanization. Annoying thing is that, while these trees were being failing down, neither a corresponding number of trees nor anyone at all was planted to replace the falling trees. In no time, the impact of the deforestation could be felt. The environment became harsh and unfriendly and that was just the beginning of the effect with more to come. How do I restore the natural environment to the area? I asked myself. I contacted Treedom and invited them to come assess the level of damage deforestation was doing to our environment. They responded swiftly and in no time, serious aforestation exercise was felt in the area. We were all delighted in the area over the quick response of Treedom.

Are you aware that with the developments that are going on in our cities, and towns, there is always a need to expand the livable land size? And when these cities want to expand, the only way they can accomplish this is by cutting down the trees that surround them. Apart from creating space for these new buildings, and factories, the wood from these trees are also cut down to be used as materials for the building process. In a nutshell, we can say that for every factory, or industry that rises on the outskirts of a city, a reasonable number of trees go down in its place. Of course, if these deforestation and tree felling activities were carried out sustainably with a few trees left standing to grow a new forest in time, then there wouldn’t be much of a problem. However, most of these activities are carried out indiscriminately leaving the soil open to erosion, driving out the wildlife from their original habitats, and generally affecting the ecosystem in the area. Fortunately, several environmental agencies and NGOs have made it their top priority to stop indiscriminate tree felling, encourage afforestation, and even seen the protection of several natural ecosystems. Treedom alleges that their mission is to finance small agroforestry projects in many countries of the world, which allows the rural farmers to take care of the initial costs of planting a tree, providing them with a means of revenue as they take care of the tree, and ultimately leading to the creation of a sustainable ecosystem. Individuals that want to be a part of this project can do so by simply visiting the Treedom website, choosing a tree that they like and paying for it. After which, a farmer would plant that tree in his country, and take care of it.
