I had a really frustrating experience with the airline recently when I tried to get on my flight to Australia. Even though I had my tickets, Australian visa, and passport with me, they wouldn't let me on board because I didn't have the credit card I used to buy the ticket. I felt like their requirement for that specific credit card as a security measure was over the top and it caused me a lot of stress and hassle.
Flight changed to Air Arabia
So, I was just supposed to fly with one airline, right? But then, they go and change it up on me to another one! I had to fork out extra cash to take my bike with me, which wasn't the deal at all, because it would've been free with the original airline. The folks at the airport customer service weren't much help, and when I tried reaching out to the original airline online, I got completely ghosted. I won't be booking a flight with them again if I have any say in it.
Flight experience from Munich to Phuket
I flew from Munich to Phuket recently and I have to say, I was really impressed with the whole experience. Firstly, all the flights were on time which is always a bonus when flying. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made the journey even better. The legroom on the seats was great, even on the standard seats. The meals they served were delicious and better than I expected. The transit area was big and made waiting for my connecting flight easy. Overall, I'll definitely choose this airline whenever I can, as it's good value for money.
Cancelled flight without replacement, unanswered emails, refund received late.
Etihad cancelled my flight and didn't give me a new one, even though they still have the same Zürich-Tokio ticket available for just a bit more money. I sent them two emails but they didn't respond. It took ages to get my refund, so I am very disappointed and only giving them one star.
Recent flight experience
My last flight was a complete letdown. When I tried to reach out to customer support via email and their app, the agents were rude and unhelpful. It was obvious they didn't appreciate my loyalty as someone who's been flying with them for over a decade, taking at least 4 flights per year. The service during the flight was below average, and the staff seemed disinterested in making our journey enjoyable. All in all, my recent experience was really awful and I'm very disappointed.
Flight booked with luggage, date change issue
I've gone and booked myself a flight with an extra bag for the trip there and back. The thing is, I needed to change my departure date, and they made me fork out extra cash. Fair enough, fair enough. But here's the kicker - when I received my new E-ticket, there was no luggage allowance for the return journey. I've been on the phone with this airline for a good 2 months trying to sort it out, but all they keep telling me is that the supervisor is tied up in a long meeting (going on for over 15 days now) and that there's some kind of investigation underway. They messed up, but they won't own up to it or make any effort to sort it out. It's beyond frustrating! I swear, I'll never be flying with them again. On top of that, Air France is offering direct flights to Abu Dhabi now, so why bother dealing with this hassle?

I must say that my experience with them was spectacular because they developed some special ways to make their clients to enjoy travelling. They are really first class airline in terms of management, in making their client feel comfortable, and enjoy luxury, etc. Their specialty is in making you to enjoy your journey to the fullest without any regrets. They serve you based on your taste. If you are like my kind of person who enjoys space and privacy, I will advise you to travel with Etihad airways because they will definitely provide with the kind of service you would want. They will give you First Class travelling experience and I assure you that you are going to enjoy great food at a time when you're hungry, you can also sleep effortlessly on a fully-flat bed, and just enjoy the privacy of Etihad Airways cabins. I really recommend Etihad airways to all my friends who need to make distant journey because I know they will really enjoy it also. With Etihad you will experience first class journey.
