I’d happily book with them again — felt safe and looked after the whole time. We arrived into Keflavik right after a huge snowfall and, to be frank, I was nervous, but they made the whole thing really straightforward. There’s a short video that shows exactly where to wait and the shuttle was bang on time. The driver was proper friendly, helped load our bags and had a bit of a chat on the short ride — nothing forced, just normal banter which I liked.
Snow in the headlights — and a lot of kit
I almost didn't book this because I was worried it wouldn’t cope with all our camera gear and my dodgy lower back (and after a previous hire went pear-shaped, I was wary). We grabbed a Dacia Duster for eight days driving Iceland’s south coast and, honestly, those worries faded fast. The boot swallowed three big suitcases and three camera bags without us having to play Tetris, and the rear seats were useful for stashing tripods and bits — made travelling as a trio actually comfortable. The pickup was dead easy, five minutes from the airport, which was a relief after a long flight. First car had a glitchy Android Auto/satnav screen, but the team swapped it straight away, no fuss, which calmed me down more than I expected. The rep who helped us was friendly and practical (proper helpful, not just chatty). Daisy — yes, we named her — felt steady on icy roads; coming from a place with almost no snow, that was reassuring. My back was happier than expected too, which made the days out less of a slog. So, sceptical to glad — would definitely hire from these folks again if you want a solid, no-nonsense vehicle for Iceland.
