That moment when you're halfway through the checkout and all those sceptical reviews pop into your head — that was me. We needed somewhere reliable because we'd been on the move for days and my partner's lower back was killing him, so skimping wasn't an option. I put down a £10 deposit and paid the rest about a month later. Emails with tickets came through at sensible intervals and Roomdi kept me updated, although one message arrived late which was a bit annoying. On arrival the hotel was actually lovely, breakfast was on our invoice and the desk knew about it — no fuss. Not perfect, but the worries mostly melted away and it did the job.
Late-notice mess
00–12:00, which, well, didn't help at midnight. We ended up using a friend’s hotel room to get changed — their staff were actually very helpful, that was a small surprise — and later had to take a taxi home after two hours in traffic, costing roughly another £120. I use these platforms a lot for work and evenings out; delivery and support failed badly this time.
Bit of a muddle, but it got fixed
a nuisance, yet relieved it was sorted in the end. We used the booking during a week’s holiday recently and right away it felt off — the site led us into a UK-based agency (Master UK) even though we never chose a UK option, and suddenly there was an unexpected €120 charge to sort out. First impression was confusion and annoyance, I won’t lie. I complained, chased them, and after a bit of back-and-forth they did come back to us and resolved it, which I’m grateful for. Still, that unannounced fee and the misinformation spoiled part of our break, and it was a faff to get it dealt with. If you try them, double-check who actually handles the booking. Glad it ended okay, but I’d be wary next time.
Booked for a wedding, left in limbo
00 on 03/03/2025, which I took to mean midday (common sense, right). Then, out of the blue, the booking was cancelled at 23:00 on the 2nd. No warning, no call. We begged them to reinstate it, rang their contact number repeatedly (honestly, dozens of times), but nothing. Ended up scrambling to rebook and losing our deposit, which stung — especially for a special weekend. The platform looks fine in the app but their customer service and how they handle cancellations is poor. Useful if you’re flexible, but not for anything important.
Nearly went on holiday with only my suitcase and a voucher
Right, quick story. I was a bit iffy about booking through that site — you know the type, very slick website, cheap-ish prices, too good to be true? Yeah, that nagging feeling. Still, we booked and paid in full because the voucher looked proper, all neat and official. For a while I convinced myself it was fine. Then, three days before we were due to fly, I phoned the hotel to double-check and they had nothing. Nothing. Cue the stomach drop.

I was really happy with how simple it was to find and book a hotel using Roomdi. The prices on their website were better than other booking platforms, and the customer service was excellent - quick and helpful. I'll definitely use Roomdi for all my future bookings.
Affordable price, free cancellation, disappointing surprises
I was first drawn to this website because the prices were really competitive and they offered free cancellation, which was a big plus for me. But things took a turn for the worse when I realised I wasn't given all the info on the payment terms. Even though I picked the free cancellation, they still charged me the full amount after only 2 days, which was a bit of a shock. It felt like they weren't being upfront with me, and then they bombarded me with loads of pushy emails. It left me feeling annoyed and like I'd been tricked by their sneaky tactics.
Quick and efficient booking process
My time using Roomdi was mostly good. Booking a room was easy and fast, and I liked that there were lots of choices. But, I did have a small problem with free cancellations. When I was looking for a room for a certain date, I saw that some hotels said you could cancel for free, but only on the same day you booked. This was a bit confusing and not what I thought I would see on a booking site. I think if the time you can cancel is less than the time you can't cancel, those options shouldn't show up in searches to avoid mix-ups.

I booked a room through this place, but turns out they gave me completely incorrect information from another source. Can you believe it? However, when I informed Roomdi about the situation, they were really great about it and allowed me to cancel my reservation without any charges or hassle. I was so relieved, thank you so much Roomdi!
Prepaid booking with misleading 'Free Cancellation' policy
I booked something on this website that said I could cancel for free, but I had to prepay 15 Euros. Turns out, though, that the 15 Euros wasn't actually refundable even though they called it a 'Free Cancellation'. Pretty sneaky and not cool, I was definitely not impressed with that.

I'm really happy with how it's all going. Booking was a breeze and I got confirmation right away. It's been really efficient.
Hotel booking
I booked a hotel on this website and everything seemed fine, but there was one issue. There wasn't a phone number provided for me to call if I needed help, so I had to email them, which was a bit frustrating. However, the support I received via email was actually pretty good, so that's a positive. They also kept me updated when I reached out, which I appreciated. But then when I arrived at the hotel, City Express Ensenada, it was a complete disaster. They treated me as if I hadn't paid for my room, which was definitely not a good experience.
Fake website
This website is dodgy. They took £1,500 from me for a refund on a cancelled booking that never got processed. I never even booked the hotel they said I did. Stay clear of this website, mate!

My experience with Roomdi was pretty simple. Booking a room was really easy and I didn't have any problems with the process. However, I did notice that the description of the room I booked didn't have much detail. There wasn't enough information given, which made it difficult for me to know exactly what to expect. It was a bit disappointing because I prefer to have all the necessary details before making a booking.
Quick and easy registration process
The registration process was pretty easy until I clicked to pay and then it came up with an error. I was a bit confused because there was no information on what to do next, so I wasn't sure if my booking went through. Luckily, I got an email not long after confirming everything, which put my mind at ease that my rooms were all sorted.
Hotel reservation confirmation
I tried to get info about my hotel booking confirmation from the chat but it was a total fail. The system was so glitchy, couldn't even type anything. Just wanted to check if my booking was all good but no joy. Trying to talk to the chatbot was a nightmare, just didn't want to assist me. Overall, the chat feature was not great at all.
Hotel booking
I was trying to book a hotel and decided to use this website for it. I came across the hotel I liked on another site and then came here. I attempted to use a cashback app to get a discount, but the price was actually higher here. I had to switch to a different device to make the booking and wasn't able to leave any comments or chat with the hotel. I reckon I'll give a different website a go next time.

I booked a hotel with Roomdi not long ago and was really happy with how everything went. The website was dead easy to use, so finding and booking a place to stay was a breeze. They sent a confirmation without delay, and all the details I needed were laid out clearly. The only hiccup was when I got to the hotel, and having a live chat for instant help would have been handy. It would have been nice to have a "room wish" feature to tailor my stay even more.
Booking issues
I had no problems when I first booked my trip, but now I can't even finish paying for it because I can't access my booking. I've been finding it really difficult to get hold of the customer service team and it's really frustrating me. It would mean a lot to me if someone from the company could contact me. Right now, I'm worried I might not be able to go on my holiday.

The booking was dead easy and I was chuffed with the price. But I'm still waiting for that email with the voucher confirming my reservation, as well as the receipt I need for my accounts. It's a bit of a pain that it's taking this long, to be honest.
