Halfway through unwrapping I realised they'd actually done the job — quick delivery and an easy checkout. I was sceptical after dodgy experiences elsewhere, but honestly pleased and will order again, for me and my husband, cheers.
Surprisingly forgiving
I assembled it on Tuesday and at first hated the parts glued to the metal plate — thought I'd wreck them. When it powered up first try and sat level, I was surprised; it looks nicer than I thought and forgives a fair bit of clumsiness.
Too fiddly for real hands
Bought this after hesitating about size and thickness — I worried it’d be too fiddly, and I was right. The metal sheet is so thin it bent and then split when I tried to shape it; you really need soldering skills to salvage it. On the plus side it arrived quickly and well-packed, but overall I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend unless you know what you’re doing.
About Metal Earth
Metal Earth is a brand associated with Metal Earth, producing laser-cut metal model kits that assemble into three-dimensional miniatures. The range typically includes vehicles, landmarks, aircraft and pop-culture licensed designs made from thin metal sheets with pre-cut parts and assembly tabs. Products are aimed at hobbyists, collectors and gift buyers and are usually assembled without glue, using small tools such as pliers. Metal Earth kits are commonly distributed through toy, hobby and online retailers.
