I ordered some trousers which arrived and were faulty. Everytime you speak with their customer services team you get someone new, meaning you have to go back and forth an infuriating amount of times to get any answers.
After first asking for a photo of the damaged item, they then asked me to return it. They only refunded me after I persistently chased them. Now they’re refusing to refund the return postage cost even though the item was faulty. It even states on their own website that they cover the return postage cost of faulty items. Refusing to do this is also against the law.
I seriously advise you to stay away from this company.

I ordered and paid for an item on December 4th. NINETEEN days later they tell they don't have the item in stock.What kind of company takes your money even though they don't have the item in stock? I have contacted them FOUR times through chat. The first time, their system was down, so that agent couldn't do anything for me. I have contacted them THREE times today. First agent Theo claims that the refund was processed on the 24th, and that I will get the details of the refund from their accounting department, in 4-5 hours. Six hours later, nothing was sent to me. Second agent Arc tells me they are processing the order and I should have it in 1-2 hours. THIRD agent Alex tells me there's a "glitch", but assures me that I will get my refund. If there's a "glitch" how can he say that I will get my refund?! I opened a case with PayPal's Resolution Center. Tired of being lied to. PayPal better get my money back.
Purchase was cancelled but I never got my money back
After ordering a cap in July, on August 4, 2019, I placed a second order for two caps. I paid € 24,66 for it using iDeal. The transfer was done by Aiden, a very trustworthy internet money interchange. (at least, I used it hundreds of times before) A few days later the order was cancelled by New Chic, but I was never reimbursed. So, I started to chat with the online customer service. This was not a happy experience. First of all, they don't read what you're writing and they don't read previous chats, so you have to tell your story over and over again. Secondly the keep denying New Chic did something wrong and always claim my Dutch bank is the culprit.
The last chat was very interesting. Frustrating, but also interesting, because New Chic claims with five chat messages that (1) they already refunded the money, (2) the order was cancelled because the price of the caps had changed and (3) they didn't receive my payment. And of course, in the end my Dutch bank was withholding my money. (I've made a print screen of the chats which I am happy to share)
The customer service is changing to story the whole time and always ends with, your bank has the money. Which I checked already, of course. And they do not have it and I see no reason why they should lie.
So, New Chic cancelled an order because the price changed (probably with 0,04 dollar cents, or something) and then I was not reimbursed. I really tried to solve the problem. I even sent my bank statements (on their request) to show that I didn't get my money back.
Since internet business is all about trust, New Chic is not doing itself a favour by hiring incompetent and twisting and lying staff for their customer service. And I will never do business with them again.
Out of three dresses I ordered two arrived today and what a load of tat. The material is see through and very bad quality and is not colour fast. I did wash them this morning in soap flakes as they stank of rotting fish. Can't wait for the third dress to arrive...... I was a seemstress for many years so recognise good quality when I see it. I have learned a lesson today. I shall not buy from these people again. What a waste of money hard earned. Buyer BEWARE
I ordered a coat to specifications on their site and was still too small. It also had Chinese writing on inside of jacket pocket which it did not on the website it was just blank. I tried to return but they wanted me to pay the postage and was almost the same cost as the coat which was 105 bucks. Never again.
Bought 2 pairs of shoes which I rejected on arrival as they bore no resemblance to the picture on their website - very pure quality. I had to return them to China (~£40) as they had no UK return address. They tried to reject my return by refusing to accept them - which is against the law! Luckily PayPal rejected the Companiy’s attempt to rip me off and reimbursed my cost straight away. AVOID ...
The shoes that I ordered did not fit my feet. In other cases of online shopping, one would just simply return for an exchange. But due to THEIR protocol, I ended up having a 1hr 50 min (ALMOST 2 HOURS!!) conversation with a representative over Live Chat to get 'permission' to send them back.
In the chat, she required me to take photos of my feet with measurements to show my size. I didn't have anyone around to help me so I had to haphazardly take my measurements with a tape measure. At times, I had to sit down (If anyone knows about measuring for foot size, you have to do it standing up!). Needless to say, she argued that I ordered the wrong size and insisted that according to my photos I should've ordered 3 sizes smaller. However, in one photo I provided, I held the shoe up to my foot---clearly 3 size smaller would not have even FIT my foot, let alone my toes. She was basically telling me that I did not order the right size. I do believe I know my feet the best and know what sizes typically work for me. That was very unnecessary for her to say anything of the sort.
The solution came down to her sending another pair of shoes (one size up). But I was required to pay for half the price of the shoe. I compared the price of shipping for the ill-fit shoes to be returned (because at this point I wanted them gone). It turned out to be cheaper to pay the half price. BuT then she tacked on the shipping. fees!! I said NO. She obliged by taking the shipping fees off. After paying for half of the price of the new shoes, I expect them to fit. And now I have these useless pair of shoes sitting in my home. And an experience to remember of someone telling me that I don't know my own feet.
