    Overall

Unbearably painful, ineffective and the owner Graham Bason showed no empathy

I was really excited when I saw the description of this procedure on eXroid's website. A non-surgical procedure where:

"The device generates a small current of up to 16mAmp, which feels only slightly uncomfortable, though not painful"

I cannot explain how far from the truth this was. I've had a number of very painful experiences in my life (including multiple surgeries) and this was BY FAR the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I really can't explain how bad it was. Given the above quote on the website, this is simply false advertising and I'll be taking this to the Ombudsman. Not only that, but the suggestion of 'numbing ointment' was not discussed during the procedure at all, and in fact Graham told me on the phone that they weren't allowed to suggest painkillers of any sort. All very conflicting information.

Not only that, but the haemorrhoid is now significantly worst and bleeding just as much as before, but now also larger and more external.

Then finally to top it all off, when I contacted the surgery to discuss the procedure and ask if something might have been wrong during the procedure because of this vast difference, the owner Graham Bason, said he wasn't sure, and asked if I noticed anything incorrect like the pad being in the wrong place and or not wet enough. I was SHOCKED, how was I, the patient, supposed to know whether the medical procedure carried out by a professional surgeon was being done correctly!?

Graham then failed to call back after saying he would enquire further with the surgeon AND AGAIN 'forgot' to take our standard post-surgery follow up call, meaning I had to call him for the assessment.

I was willing to accept that the procedure may not get rid of the piles on first attempt as the website says, but I was not willing to do that at the expense of the most painful 30minutes of my life (in fact 24 minutes, as I wasn't able to finish the procedure - I also also offered no compensation for this, Graham also suggested that not all piles need the 9 minutes of treatment each to be successful, which opposed specifically what his surgeon told me in person) when the website said explicitly that it would be only "slightly uncomfortable".

Please please please, just go through a trusted surgical route and save your money but more importantly, your physical and mental health. I don't want others to go through what I've had to endure here.
