My reviews received a verification request
Companies you've reviewed might get in touch if they think you're talking about a different business or breaching BritainReviews' rules.
Why Would a Company Contact Me?
Reaching out to a reviewer is a common step for companies dealing with problematic reviews. They might do this for a few reasons:
Not Recognised as a Customer:
If a company can't identify you as their customer, they may ask for more info to quickly figure out and address the issue.
Misplaced Review:
If your review seems to be about the wrong company, they may check if you meant to review their business.
Guideline Violations:
Reviews shouldn't include confidential or personal details. If they think your review does, they might ask you to remove it.
Eligibility Issues:
If a company doubts that your review meets BritainReviews' criteria, they might ask for more info to confirm your experience.
This guide clarifies why and when a company may contact you about your review, aiming to ensure transparency and address concerns effectively.
How Does It Work?
You’ll receive a message at the email linked to your account. You can respond as you see fit. We give you a week to sort out the issue.
What Happens If I Disagree With the Request or Don’t Respond?
If you don't agree with the company's request, decide not to respond, or don't provide enough info, your review might be removed after a final check by our team.
This process ensures both parties can address any review concerns fairly, maintaining our platform’s integrity.
