BritainReviews - Privacy & Disclaimer
We welcome in an era of customer reviews being looked to as an important source of information, both for every (future) customer and a source of feedback for companies. It is important that this information is objective, honest and correct. That is why there are a number of rules for posting a review on our site. This to ensure fairness and clarity, and to exclude any form of abuse.
Privacy is something that we, the people behind BritainReviews, take very seriously, especially with the recent innovations & developments regarding GDPR and ePrivacy. Our aim is to offer an independent, reliable and trustworthy platform where customers can safely leave a review about their experiences and rating of any service or brand. We will never share personal details with third parties unless permission had been asked for and granted by the writer of the review. We want to help potential customers by presenting them with a view of a company that is as impartial and objective as possible, namely a view based on reviews of previous customers themselves. Safety, reliability and independence are always put first here at BritainReviews.
Reviews and responses to reviews on BritainReviews always represent the opinion and/or experiences of the person who posted the review or response, never the review or opinion of BritainReviews. BritainReviews is not responsible for any incorrect or unclear content in reviews or responses. When necessary, we do remove personal names and inappropriate language from reviews and responses (we do leave a remark of this) to guarantee the secure and positive impact of our website.
Do you have an experience with a company? In that case we ask you, especially in case of a negative experience, to no waver from sharing this experience with the best accuracy you can manage. Focus on the facts and concrete aspects of your experience, which will be invaluable for those that have never had any contact with the company. When clarification is needed, we will try to contact the writer of the review and ask them to support their case with evidence. Examples of this evidence could include email conversations or an invoice.
To the best of our effort, we prevent people from posting unfounded reviews on this website. Everyone who wants to post a message is asked to give as much detail as possible. The more detail, the more validity your review has and the better chance it will stand of being kept online in the case of a complaint from the company. If you have posted a negative review, you may be contacted via email. Reviews that are left in large quantities all from the same IP address will be removed. If more than one review has been written (about one or more companies) without sufficient information, these reviews will be removed. Advertisements, Calls-to-action or threats will be removed and contact information and domain names (ULS) will be redacted.
Having a business page on BritainReviews does not give you the final decision right to remove or leave a review. As an objective and independent platform, we never remove a review or experience submitted by a customer without the due-process and agreement from both sides that the issue has been resolved. The negative review will then be watermarked as ‘Resolved’ and the grade will be removed from the overall score, highlight your brand’s involvement in resolving customer issues.
