Review about: Playful Promises
Order fulfillment issue
I've had a lot of problems with Playful Promises when it comes to fulfilling orders. Their website seems to have real issues with keeping track of what's actually in stock, which has caused delays and even cancellations. The customer service I got was pretty bad too, they weren't very helpful at all when it came to sorting out the lack of supply, giving refunds, or just generally helping me out. Getting a discount voucher for a future purchase doesn't really make up for all the hassle they've put me through.
I placed my order on May 10th, and I was expecting to get it in 2-3 working days. But then on May 14th, they told me that the item was actually out of stock, so they couldn't send it to me. After asking for a refund, I had to wait for two whole weeks without any updates. Even though they gave me a 30% discount voucher, I still think I should get my money back quickly and a good explanation for why it's taken so long.
I think it's really unfair for them to keep hold of customers' money for so long because of their own mistakes with stock levels and being too busy.
