Part ended up not working. Got reimbursement for that.
When it came to claiming the labour I have had to jump through tons of hoops designed to discourage me from pursuing the claim.
They are a horrible company to deal with.

I ordered my parts before looking at the reviews on trust pilot.
I had prior knowledge that the company was German based,
On this assumption I expected a quality component good packaging for shipment and was prepared to wait a few extra days for delivery.
On receiving the shipment I did notice a lot of rattling coming from the parcel,
I pointed this out to courier who inspected the package he replied stating the parcel itself was undamaged and whole.
The problem was the parcel was not securely wrapped inside.
On opening the parcel I was met with a plastic wrapping covered in grease and components all disassembled.
6 x 12 mm Ball bearings 1 x Ball Race Ring 1 x Cover.
This was a drive shaft supposedly ready to fit to a vehicle.
Now came the tricky bit I have to first clean the drive shaft, reassemble the parts supply my own grease and refit the end cap.
What if I was unable to tackle this task.
Other parts I ordered with the component were also covered in grease and had to be thoroughly cleaned.wing mirror
1- I wanted to add to an order within 30 mins. of sending the first. As I couldn't amend it myself, I emailed them to ask how to add the extra item. They only responded after they had dispatched the first order so I had to pay delivery charges on the additional item. Their responses generally are very slow as is their delivery.
2- I entered my car registration number in order to be assured of getting the right part. The wing mirror arrived but was for an earlier model of car and wouldn't fit mine. They would not refund the return charges even though they had made the error. They put all the responsibility on me telling me I should have checked the OEM!! The mirror cost around £10 - so not worth the return delivery charge, and the Covid risk to go to the Post Office. I went to Wing Mirrors in the end and got great service and the right part.Brake discs
Delivery didn’t take long however input my reg and my car came up obviously I ordered the brake discs based of my car details it comes up on the suitable vehicles however it is too small for my car which hasn’t been discovered until it caused my brake pad to crumble due to it wearing out the brake pad and leaving a lip at the top. My brake pad fell out while I was driving. No resolution offered when contacted.
Arnott air springs for Mercedes E 320
Parts were a little cheaper. One front strut developed a problem after 2000 miles. Barrier after barrier is put in front of me. Clearly they do not intend to replace the part even though it is faulty. I wonder what Arnott would think. I would not buy anything from these people. Customer service is non existent, I have never experienced such poor customer care ....Ever.

I have used Autodoc on a few occasions, the prices and quality of parts are very competitive and high standards, which draws me to them. However there automated web chat is 0 to average, feels like you talking to a computer with limited responses. They promise a lot but deliver very little on the customer service front in answering queries. I have placed an order on the 22nd of June and now 13th July I am no better off. The status shows awaiting collection from currier for over a week. There commitment to service is close to nothing. I really don't understand how they see waiting for parts for almost 3 weeks is NOT acceptable. If they carry on with this and not to mention charge for delivery and not deliver on time, im afraid to say goodbye Autodoc as I think I will be using another supplier. The price may be a little more but the delivery is on time

Brake Disks, Callipers and Pads set
Took a while to arrive, but the boxes had obviously been dropped ad they were badly dented and ripped. Luckily the brake disks and callipers appear to have survived the journey OK. However half the disk pads were damaged and are unusable. This is probably as a result of being packaged loose with the disks. I have contacted Autodoc twice now , both by email and via their website, and sent them photos but I have had no response. I can't even start the job while I am waiting as I don't even have a serviceable axle set of pads.
