Just a terrible customer experience. We returned a watch within 30 days, and they refused us any refund or exchange. The owner Mr Mason is also rude and combative and frankly the worst customer experience I have had. I would strongly advise you to stay away from this retailer. I bought this watch for my wife for her birthday and she tried it out to see if she liked it. She decided she did not like it. The watch was in excellent condition when we returned it within 30 days. This retailer frankly ruined my wife’s birthday by forcing her to accept a watch that she does not want. If you think you may want to return your item (for any reason), do NOT buy from this retailer! They are completely inflexible, unreasonable and unpleasant. I can’t believe that anyone would treat a customer like this in this day and age.
The customer returned a watch outside the 30 day period but we would have still accepted it however his wife had worn the watch extensively, the strap was incredibly used so was therefore no longer able to be returned for a refund, this is pretty standard retail policy. Would you wear clothes for 30 days then expect to return for a full refund ?
As for the rude message we said "We have received your Garmin watch back today that you have stated is for a refund, however, the item is very clearly used and therefore a refund would not be available." if that is rude then we apologise.

The item crown was removed at dispatch to make sure the item works before dispatch, experience has shown our customers prefer to receive working watches rather than a piece of plastic masking a broken watch, the item worked 100% and was 100% brand new, in fact it was still shrink wrapped at time of dispatch, for reference not all manufactures even use crown stoppers. You have been told this at least half a dozen times. NO ISSUE.
The colour is correct, it was the item that was ordered, correct colour and correct model no. NO ISSUE.
The watch fits me and i am 23 stone. NO ISSUE other than it didn't fit your husband.
I categorically reiterate you spoke with my member of staff, presumably i am now a liar too ?
Your husband is English and we spoke to him on the phone and in the shop too, there was no miscommunication taking place, please do not try and say there was.
I look forward to discussing the situation with Maurice Lacroix, thanks for bringing it to there attention, it will be nice for them to hear about situations retailers face.
Not sure what stopped the thread is referring to, i simply stopped answering your emails as the item has been refunded in full and the matter is over, the constant back and forth is/was accomplishing nothing.
As i am the owner of the business you have already made your complaint and it has been rejected 100% on the grounds you have zero to complain about as no error occurred, any "rude" behavior you experienced is a result of your own behavior, if asking you to leave repeatedly and then threatening to call the police to get you to do so is classed as rude ? if you wish to contact an ombudsman that is your right although i fail to see for what, but this is up to you to facilitate and nothing to do with us.
To clarify i said "If you continue with the slanderous inaccurate comments and threats of blackmail we will have to take legal action i'm afraid" which is still the case.
