Scam artists with poor after sales
I purchased car hire for my trip to Florida. Paid the deposit and was told the total I would pay on pick up. When we got there the company they were using tried to add all kinds of extras saying they were mandatory. They weren't and I highlighted this in the contract. They removed all charges except for a tax of $68 I was told this would have to be taken up with Discover Cars as they have made a mistake. I paid the $68 and then contacted Discover. More than a month later and keep being asked for the same documents I have already given them they are now saying I added extra services. I didn't I was charged state tax which Discover had already charged me. I also left my sons airpods in the car but they will not even reply to the request for them to chase the company about retrieving them even though I have said i'll pay all postage costs. They are complete scam artists. They will add additional charges to your rental, they use dodgy third party dealers who use apple tags to track your journeys and their after sales is beyond appalling.

I couldn't find the reservation mentioned above.
DiscoverCars.com is a rental car price comparison platform... we are not the agency. When a customer loses an item inside the vehicle, only the rental supplier can assist them.
What we do, however, is notify the agency about what happened.
Before the customer finalizes the reservation, we inform them about the rental conditions, what is included in the rental price, and what is not.
Normally, for reservations in the USA, the following insurance is not included and is mandatory... Collision Damage Waiver... Third Party Liability (TPL)... Theft Protection. Therefore, the main driver must carry these documents with him or buy them at the counter.
Some fees are included in the rental price, whereas others are not.
