Insurance claim experience
I had a bit of a frustrating situation with my insurance company recently. Basically, the premium for my policy shot up by a huge amount after I made a small claim for a carpet stain caused by a nosebleed, even though I hadn't made any other claims in over a year. I was shocked to see the renewal cost go from £1,100 to £3,300, especially since the claim hadn't even been paid out yet. I felt like they were really taking advantage of me, asking me to pay three times more for something so minor. It just didn't make sense to me. This whole situation made me doubt whether the insurance company is really looking out for its customers or just trying to make as much money as possible.
