    Home structural inspection report

    The report gave us some really useful info on the state of the house, focusing on those cracks in the walls outside. Even though the structural engineers said it wasn't subsidence causing the cracks, but failed window lintels, that bit of crucial info somehow got missed in the report. I've tried getting in touch with customer service over the phone and chat, but haven't had any luck, which is pretty frustrating.

    What a nightmare it was dealing with this company! I had to make a claim for a water leak recently, and I have to say, it was a nightmare from the beginning to the end. Everything moved at a snail's pace, the customer service was not helpful at all, and the end result was disappointing. Despite shelling out for coverage, most of my claim wasn't actually covered, leaving me with a massive bill to foot. And if that wasn't bad enough, my insurance premium shot up at renewal, with a crazy increase that made no sense given my claim history. I'd advise staying well clear of this company!

    I had a bit of a frustrating situation with my insurance company recently. Basically, the premium for my policy shot up by a huge amount after I made a small claim for a carpet stain caused by a nosebleed, even though I hadn't made any other claims in over a year. I was shocked to see the renewal cost go from £1,100 to £3,300, especially since the claim hadn't even been paid out yet. I felt like they were really taking advantage of me, asking me to pay three times more for something so minor. It just didn't make sense to me. This whole situation made me doubt whether the insurance company is really looking out for its customers or just trying to make as much money as possible.

    After spending two years with the company, I had a really bad experience when I had to make a claim for accidental damage and water damage to my shower. Even though I had been paying for coverage, they took ages to deal with the issue and only got back to me when I kept nagging them. In the end, they found a way to dodge paying out and also bumped up my insurance premium by £400. It was so frustrating and left me feeling really let down.

    As others have stated, they seem to be cheap, efficient and easy to deal with. Thats until you have to raise a claim. They sent 4 different lots of assessors out to try and wiggle out of paying. We are atill fighting them now 6 months down the line. Id seriously warn anyone thinking of ysing this company to stay very clear of them!

    This company, Frontier, is a UK broker and the real insurance co is in Gibraltar. It all seems ok until you have to make a claim. As per other reviews elsewhere, they do everything to try to wiggle out of a claim. Trying to somehow proove that a decent, honest family, have done wrong so they dont have to pay. Please bear warned to steer very clear of this company!
