Car insurance - claims process.
AVIVA - DO NOT INSURE YOUR CAR OR ANYTHING ELSE WITH THIS INCOMPETENT SHOWER OF CLOWNS. God forbid you have to make a claim because they will tie you up in knots and offload responsibility at the earliest opportunity. Two week after my accident and i still do not have a hire car. To get to this unsatisfactory outcome i had to endure 28 hrs of calls with 13 different advisors. They have lied repeatedly, been rude, unhelpful and extremely inflexible. In fact, they treat their customers with complete and utter contempt - to any prospective customers thinking about insuring ANYTHING with AVIVA then think again - you have been warned. Your well being and health will suffer extremely badly as soon as you start to engage with these robots, do yourself a favour and avoid this lot like the plague - GO TO ANY OTHER INSURER EXCEPT AVIVA OR ANY OTHER COMPANY THAT THEY OWN. Just a footnote - do not bother asking to speak to a manager or supervisor as they refuse to make an appearance, probably too busy sitting scratching their arses or playing solitaire in their air conditioned offices.
I had a similar issue! I ended up cancelling on the phone, not that they cared. I then went on mycompare.co.uk and went with elephant which was much better
