Train tickets purchase
I bought some train tickets for a trip to Oxford with my wife from a website that isn't National Rail. Unfortunately, I couldn't book our return journey on the National Rail site, so I had to use another one. When the tickets arrived, I was shocked to see that we had received a total of 24 tickets for our journey back. Each ticket had a different seat reservation, and most of them were in different parts of the train. This meant we had to keep moving around to find our seats, turning our journey into a confusing game of musical chairs. Although using this website saved me a bit of money, the hassle of dealing with so many tickets outweighed the saving. It's a shame that there was no warning before I bought them about the sheer number of tickets we'd receive. If I'd known beforehand, I probably wouldn't have booked through that website.
