Cuprinol Wood Preserver & Silicone Sealant
I purchased a 5 Litre can not Cuprinol Wood preserver from Travis Perkins branch in Pocklington. I had seen what I thought was wood preserver on the Travis Perkins website at a cost of £45-00 including VAT.
The price I was charged at the store was £61-72 including VAT When I queried this at the check out I was told the price was correct I checked on the price label on the shelf and the price was £45-00 After some debate including trying to find the item on their own website the staff told me that the item advertised on the website was Cuprinol 5 Star Wood Treatment and what they had in stock but shown with a price of £45-00 was in fact Cuprinol Wood Preserver and the shelf price had not been updated
I therefore ended up paying £16-72 more than was advertised.
I contacted Travis Perkins Customer Services but have had no response or even acknowledgement.
