Garden sleepers
I had an amazing time at the Birkenhead branch! The staff there were so helpful and friendly, they gave us all the info we needed about garden sleepers. Graham was especially great, he really went out of his way to help us, giving us valuable advice on materials and even sorting out delivery to our house. His customer service and genuine friendliness really made our visit special. If only more companies had people like him, the world would be a better place. We'll definitely be going back to this branch in the future and recommending it to others. Big thanks to Roz & Phil for their fantastic service!
Recent timber and board purchase
The people working at this place were really helpful and knew a lot about the stuff they were selling. They asked me about my project and made sure I got everything I needed. Chris even went the extra mile to suggest other things that could help, like DPC. Inside, Christina was just as helpful, showing me where things were and answering all my questions. She even got someone else to help me with technical stuff. All in all, the service at this branch was excellent, and I'll definitely come back for more supplies in the future.
Building materials
I recently bought some building materials and I had a really great experience with the delivery service. I ordered everything on a Tuesday just after a Bank Holiday and it arrived promptly the next morning. The delivery guy, Glen, was so helpful and made sure to drop off the materials as near to my house as he could. I was really impressed by the excellent customer service and I will definitely be shopping with them again because of their consistently top-notch service.
Building materials delivery
I just wanted to share with you all about the amazing delivery of building materials I received recently. The service was outstanding! The delivery driver was so skilled and precise in handling the truck and equipment to drop off the materials exactly where I wanted them. It was really impressive to watch him work - he was clearly an expert in his field. Thanks to his efficient delivery, my preparations for the patio build were a breeze.
Boat fit out materials
The team at the Weybridge branch were amazing, especially Hayden who really went above and beyond to get us the perfect materials for our boat project. The materials were excellent quality and the prices were fair. It's obvious that the staff here really value their work and truly care about their customers.
Resin mixer hire
I got in touch with the Kettering Road Northampton branch to ask about renting a resin mixer. I chatted with Adam who mentioned he would check on availability and get back to me, but unfortunately, I never heard back from him. I called twice and left messages with other team members, yet I still didn't get any response. It would have been nice if they had at least let me know if a mixer wasn't available. To be honest, I was really let down by the level of customer service they delivered.
Builders merchant
The team down at the Nailsea depot are absolutely fantastic, especially Dan, Rees, Josh, and Chris. They are always willing to lend a hand and really go out of their way to make sure customers are taken care of. The place is super tidy and well-organised, so you can easily locate what you’re after in no time. And the prices are really good too, making it the perfect choice for all your builder's merchant requirements.
Recent deliveries
I've been getting quite a few deliveries from the local branch lately and I have to say, the driver's service has been top-notch. Darren, the driver, has really gone the extra mile to make sure everything arrives on time and without any problems. His upbeat attitude and eagerness to assist really make each delivery a breeze. It's obvious that he takes pride in what he does and is a real asset to the company.
Building materials
I went to this place to grab some building materials and it was absolutely brilliant! The staff were really friendly and willing to assist me whenever I needed. They made sure I had all the things I required and even assisted me in taking them to my car. The delivery arrived promptly and the driver handled everything with great care. I really wish all stores were as fantastic as this one!
Timely delivery of quality materials
I just wanted to give a shoutout to the guys at the local depot. I ordered some materials and they arrived quickly and in great shape. The staff, especially Dan, were super helpful and gave top-notch customer service. The quality of the materials was spot on and the prices were really good. All in all, I have no complaints and would totally recommend their services to anyone.
My wood for building project
I ordered wood online and it was an absolute disaster! They didn't even bother to call before dropping it off, I only saw it by chance. And on top of that, 3 out of the 4 pieces were completely wrong! It's so annoying, their customer service is just terrible.
Delivery service
I've just had the best service from the delivery driver, Andy, who works in Minworth. He was really on time, polite, and really made sure that my items were delivered safely. I would definitely suggest him to anyone who needs a delivery service.
Double story extension materials
Travis Perkins in Ruabon is my favourite spot for getting most of the stuff I need for my two-story extension. The folks there are really good at what they do, so I never have to wait long for anything. Sue and Kev, the boss, have both been super helpful from start to finish. I'd definitely suggest checking them out for any building materials you might need.
Drill enquiry
I went to this place hoping to buy a drill, but they had none left! Can you imagine? And when I asked when they would get more, the guy working there said, "How long is a piece of string?" I didn't get it at all! This isn't the first time the customer service has been lacking at this shop in Stratford upon Avon. They really need some proper training. They need to step up their game!
Ibstock Arundel Yellow bricks
I asked for a price on Ibstock Arundel Yellow bricks at your shop. I was really surprised to see that your first quote was much more expensive than the same product at a nearby trade store. Your price was three times higher than theirs - that's a big difference! It doesn't seem fair at all.
Non-delivered order
I ordered some stuff and was really looking forward to receiving it. But, it never arrived. I didn't hear anything from customer service about what was going on. After waiting for ages, I decided to cancel the order. It's so annoying when a company doesn't keep you in the loop and leaves you with no clue about what's happening.
Two successful deliveries
I've made two purchases recently with this company and both deliveries were better than I expected. When I went to the Minworth branch, Cole was really helpful in taking my order. Andy and Chris, the delivery drivers, were both very professional and made sure the items were delivered to the right place. I'm really happy with the service I got overall.
Crane truck delivery in difficult location
I just had a crane truck delivery from the store and I have to say, the service was absolutely top-notch. Even though I live in a tricky spot for access, the delivery driver somehow managed to crane off the goods smoothly despite the pouring rain. I was really impressed with the professionalism and efficiency they showed.
Roofing materials
This company is absolutely amazing to deal with! Their service is quick and efficient from beginning to end. The customer service was excellent, with staff who were really knowledgeable and always happy to assist. The delivery service was top-notch, with items arriving on time and in perfect condition. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with this company.
