Unfortunately, they collect money from their students in many dodgy ways. They offer 1-month trials after which they would still charge their students, even if the accounts have been canceled.
Instant buy buttons are another scam. If you press it by an accident you will loose £40 in a blink of an eye.
If you try to cancel the subscription you can only do it Monday to Friday 9-5pm. Even then, you will have to call some phone number and will have to enter your students' unique code that, surprise, is not recognized. There are many reported cases of Shaw academy taking money from their students' bank accounts even if the direct debit has been canceled weeks ago.
Avoid being scammed by them. There are plenty of honest educational websites that will offer you quality online courses for free or for the money you are paid without taking unauthorized payments from your bank account.
