Boiler service/care plan
Been a boiler care customer for 3 years. Service in March highlighted minor damage caused at the previous years service. Engineer reported back stating it had to be replaced. 24/7 denied any liability and advised the part was no longer covered on the warranty.
There followed a long series of emails where Is had to prove that the readings on the previous service sheets could have only been obtained by removing the damaged part. Had to mention legal action. After 3 weeks they changed their minds and agreed to the repair. Was to be done today but guess what - they cancelled and rearranged dates as the ubiquitous Worcester Bosch part was unavailable. We wait with fingers crossed.
To add insult the engineer is who located the damage then caused further damage which dumped water over my work surfaces. To be fair they fixed that part pretty quickly.
Before this year I had no issues but I am seriously concerned by the variable levels of customer service.
