At first trial to register, there was a requirement on payment details which will be enforced after the 4-weeks trial expires, so I opted out because I do not want a situation whereby it will difficult to opt out after the 4-weeks trial.
Few days after this, I was sent an email stating that I could go on to participate in the trial without imputing my card/payment details. And since then, I have attended two lessons which has been very educative.
Also, I could download the recording for the first lesson but not for the second lesson. If this can be taken into consideration, it will make it easy for those who missed a few slides when their network reception is bad.Review about: Shaw Academy

I saw 4+ stars on TrustPilot and thought that was good enough - I wish I had read the negative reviews first - so joined their 4 week free offer. Only then do you find you have to pay for "materials" to attend the free class. That when I tried, very forcibly, to cancel - the response was, as for others, more marketing letters. Luckily I blocked my credit card. I spoke to someone, took their name and told them I was recording the conversation and that they were in breach of Data Protection regulations keeping my account open and my records which should no longer be relevant to them against my instructions. (No idea if true!). I then got an email confirming the account was closed.However, I've subsequently has 2 chasers to attend classes. I think it all smells and would advise not to get involved.
The TrustPilot warning is on their first Shaw page, as follows which suggests to me that the positive reviews may well be submitted by the company itself. "This company has claimed their profile, but we have no recent records of them asking their customers to review them using Trustpilot’s invitation servicesI’m studying social media marketing and graphic design and I’m enjoying a lot the classes. Are very well explained and the email system keeps it everything organized and easy to remember. It’s very engaging.
