The product specifications described the top as being made of walnut. What arrived was plastic. I did in fact dread opening the box when I saw a big "made in China" written in the front of the box. It took three months to arrive, which I assumed was because some local carpenter was actually making the table. But the box said it was dispatched from China on the same day of purchase. So the piece of plastic was well ready to go.
They also make it impossible to return. You obviously need to open the box to check the product, but if you damage the box and don't return it in perfect condition they don't give you a refund. Moreover you ll have to pay the delivery yourself.
