    My recent car rental experience

    My recent experience renting a car was an absolute disaster. The people I spoke to on the phone seemed like they were just reading from a script and didn't really help me with my specific problem. I need my car for work and going to different places, so when it wouldn't lock, I was really worried about my safety. I asked for a repair appointment and a temporary car, but they said they couldn't do anything for weeks. I even said my car could get stolen, but all they offered was to pay for my bus fare. That was ridiculous because I can't use public transport for my work in the countryside. It took a long time and lots of phone calls before a manager finally agreed to give me another car. But then it was really confusing trying to decide between the new car and my old one. They kept changing what they said about fees and when the car would arrive, which made everything even more confusing and frustrating. The company's emails were no help either, they were all just the same and didn't really address my concerns.
