Transportation has been made easy with the use of cars. Cars became popular during the 20th century. They are primarily used found in developed countries and are designed to carry about 4 – 8 persons. Cars are grouped under automobiles having four wheels, which is a characteristic of automobiles. There are different types, styles, and models of cars, with the most common designs being sports cars, convertible, hatchback, station wagon, sedan, coupe, sport utility vehicle, pickup truck, minivan, city cars, micro cars, etc. Cars use gasoline to generate energy for acceleration. A new type of car which doesn’t use gasoline as a source of energy is the electrical car. Electrical cars are driven by one or more electric machines through energies stored in their rechargeable batteries. They also seem to have an edge over gasoline cars considering some of their benefits such as; they do not produce carbon emissions which are poisonous to the human system, do not require gasoline for propelling, have more batteries for energy, are economical, require low-budget maintenance, are much quieter and do not produce noise pollution. There are three types of electric cars depending on the amount of electricity needed as energy; plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and battery electric vehicles. A company that proffers itself as an authority in the electric car industry is Onto. Onto is an online car company that affirms itself to be the sole provider of electric cars for individuals without hassle. Before taking out insurance Firstly, before you take out insurance, you should consider answering the following questions. If the insurance company is an independent agent or an insurance company?
Secondly, you should research the company's history and reputation. And reading online reviews is a way to find out more about their consumer satisfaction.
Thirdly, you should also look into the insurance companies’ financial strength to be sure that they can cover your claims!
Fourthly, always looking into the coverage of an insurance policy. Make sure that what you need is what you get!
Fifthly, analyze and compare the price of an insurance policy. Whether you are taking out a home or health insurance, there is always a cheaper and (not always) a better option.
Finally, there are more things to consider before taking out insurance; matters as the ease of doing business like getting claims approved.

I've used OnTo now for two months, ordered the ID.3 Life Pro Performance, and from the start with the delivery to now it has been amazing. Use my referral code 37740 if you are thinking of trying it out, not only do you get £50 off your first month but it also means you get to try out a EV.
was highly skeptical of this new way of driving, but I thought that if I don't try it I'll never know! There really is little adjustment other than the charging.
I have been very impressed with the service received from Onto. The car was delivered as planned and they've responded to my calls and emails promptly. I opted for the Renault Zoe ZE50 Iconic R135 and it's wonderful to drive; quiet, smooth and automatic! It lasts about 190 miles before I have to recharge.
Pin-pointing the charging points (the free ones that come with membership) in my area was a little tricky, but once I figured out where a couple of them were, it was fine. Charging points don't come in abundance like petrol stations so you might find that a charging point is already in use and you have to wait. This happened to me once, I then went to the next available one in my area and it wasn't working. This, along with the time it takes to charge (around 80 mins for a full charge from 20% remaining battery) are the only things which I find a little inconvenient, hence my 4 stars, but I'm getting used to it. I've had it 2 weeks and have charged it once a week (how often you charge will depend on how much driving you do).
Overall, I'm very happy with Onto experience and will be continuing my subscription. If you want £50 off your new subscription then feel free to use my referral code, it really does work, I did it on my first subscription: 35c4c.
I had not considered an electric car until I saw the onto advert pop up in my social media. I had looked at some lease deals for diesel cars but did not want to take a long term lease deal. Onto appealed to be because it was a monthly arrangement and I could return the car easily. I was attracted by the all inclusive deal including charging. No other bills! I chose the Hyundai Ioniq, (I'm a fan of Hyundai's reliability) and signed up. The process was as easy as they said it was. Just a photo of you and your driving licence and some basic details and your done. I chose the delivery date and the car arrived on time and with good communication on the day. I've done several thousand miles now and have found onto brilliant. You get account cards for the major charging networks, BP, Instavolt and Shell , I've had no issue finding chargers, I use an app to locate them and some longer journeys do need a bit of planning to know where you will charge up. I've done journeys of several hundred miles with no issues. the onto app is used to track your mileage used, open and lock the car etc but you also get the key to the car. Customer service has been brilliant. I can highly recommend onto and electric driving. I got £50 off my first month using a referral code. If you use mine you can get £50 off yours too . Enter code 23c58 when you sign up to onto. Happy electric motoring!
I have been using OnTo for around 6 months having had my e208 delivered in November.
I wholeheartedly recommend them!
The time from signing up for their service to delivery of the car was around 2 weeks. This was for a brand new car in the colour I wanted too.
Originally I intended to keep the car for a month to see if I got on with an electric car and if so then order the same car through PCH or PCP. However, when you work out the figures (insurance, deposit, servicing, etc) Onto is actually a cost effective alternative to the traditional methods.
It was easy to get my car booked in for it's first service via customer support and little issues such as a missing granny charger were quickly sorted in the week after the car was delivered.

Highly, highly recommend Onto. If anyone is looking and fancies a discount on your first month, here is my referral code - 1e445 Have had a Renault Zoe for around two weeks. Customer service is flawless, online ordering was super easy. Delivery was exceptional, communication thorough at all times and delivery chap was fab. I haven't driven an automatic or an electric car before, but both changes are welcomed ones! Currently choosing what car to get now as only had the Zoe as a months trial, have loved it so far, and need something ...!
The car arrived at the specified time. During the first journey in the car the tyre pressure light came on, it turned out to be a slow puncture, I hadn't been anywhere in it so it's most likely arrived that way. I had to have a tyre repair company come as dictated by Onto, I don't actually know what he did, I'm sure it didn't need to be replaced, however I did end up paying Onto £111 for something I could have arranged myself for considerably less! They began an investigation into the situation but it didn't arrive at any conclusion. I actually returned the car before the end of the first rental period, the tyre was annoying but nothing compared to the phone locking and unlocking. Needless to say the Onto experiment was a failure, the car was poor but that's not Onto's fault, their service was poor though and I couldn't recommend them.
