Car rental experience
It's really important to be careful when thinking about using this company for hiring a car. They have a reputation for exploiting customers when they bring back the vehicle, charging high fees for damages that are just part of the wear and tear you'd expect from normal use. Also, trying to book a service with them is a nightmare – they might not turn up at all or cancel at the last minute, leaving you feeling annoyed and stuck. And don't even get me started on the sneaky admin fees they add on whenever they send you a letter, which soon mount up to an unreasonable sum.
My recent car rental experience
My recent experience renting a car was an absolute disaster. The people I spoke to on the phone seemed like they were just reading from a script and didn't really help me with my specific problem. I need my car for work and going to different places, so when it wouldn't lock, I was really worried about my safety. I asked for a repair appointment and a temporary car, but they said they couldn't do anything for weeks. I even said my car could get stolen, but all they offered was to pay for my bus fare. That was ridiculous because I can't use public transport for my work in the countryside. It took a long time and lots of phone calls before a manager finally agreed to give me another car. But then it was really confusing trying to decide between the new car and my old one. They kept changing what they said about fees and when the car would arrive, which made everything even more confusing and frustrating. The company's emails were no help either, they were all just the same and didn't really address my concerns.

Dealing with them for 6 months was an absolute nightmare. Their customer service was awful, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

My car conked out towards the end of February and I was left without a car until the end of March, with no replacement or courtesy car given. It was such a hassle - I had to spend countless hours on the phone and make a formal complaint just to get a resolution, which only came in the form of a refund for my monthly rental. This caused a lot of inconvenience and extra costs for my travel needs. And to top it off, when the car was finally fixed, it turned out that the company's tracker was draining the battery because it was plugged in wrongly. This led to another 2 hours of arguments and threats of legal action before I finally got my car back. Dealing with this company has been incredibly stressful and frustrating.
Electric car subscription purchase
I've had a great experience with the electric car subscription service. Every time I've contacted the company, they've been quick and helpful. I asked for some documents for a resident parking permit, and the company got back to me surprisingly fast. I sent the request on a Saturday night and by Sunday morning, I had the documents in my email. It was really impressive how responsive and efficient they were.
Subscription car for 5 months
I had this really cool subscription car for 5 months while I was waiting for my new car to arrive from somewhere else. But then, to my surprise, my new car turned up earlier than expected! When I decided to return the car because of all these problems, Onto didn't pick it up promptly and later tried to charge me for damage that wasn't there. On top of that, they added an undisclosed Collection Fee, which was an unexpected cost. All in all, my experience with Onto has been letdown and I'd suggest others to be cautious of their practices.

I've been using the car maintenance and switching service from this company for the past year, and I have to say it's been a fantastic experience. I love how easy it is to get routine work done on my car, with them coming to me at work or at home, so I don't have to worry about arranging courtesy cars. I was really impressed by how well she understood my issue and even had a bit of a laugh with me, which made the whole situation much better. I am very grateful for Amy's quick and professional handling of my concerns.
Subscription vehicle service
Don't let the shiny exterior of this company fool you. At first, things seemed to be going well with their service, but as time went on, problems started piling up and the support dwindled. I ended up spending a lot of money with them over 4 years, only to be hit with steep price increases and the threat of my vehicle being repossessed at short notice. When I refused to pay the new, unfair fees, I decided to end my contract with them. Unfortunately, the nightmare didn't stop there. I then received legal threats for collection fees that were never mentioned to me before. Despite my attempts to contact them multiple times, I was completely ignored. Now, I am getting ready to take legal action to recover my costs and expenses. Stay away from this company - unless you enjoy being exploited.
Car rental experience
Avoid using them unless you want to get cheated! I had the car for 6 months and they charged me over £1000 for damages that weren't even there. Completely unfair! They even charged me for the miles the driver used to bring the car back. Absolutely ridiculous! I wouldn't use them again, I recommend trying other companies like wagonex or Elmo instead.

The customer service I got when sorting out my car subscription was outstanding. The lady I spoke to, Sonia, was really helpful and thoughtful. She listened to me and did everything she could to support me during a tricky period. I really appreciated her kindness and hard work, and she kept me up to date with emails and calls. Electric car rental with charging inclusive contracts
I've found Onto to be a brilliant choice for renting electric cars with charging included in the contract. The idea of being able to switch between different vehicles without the stress of owning one is just amazing. I have encountered some issues with claims for bumps and servicing, but the customer service team has always been great at solving them. My only small complaint is that because this is still a fairly new concept, sometimes the staff on the phones have had to call back to sort things out.
Unsubstantiated Damage Claim
This company is an absolute joke! They falsely said my car was damaged twice, but didn't show any photos to prove it. It's obvious they're just trying to get as much money as they can, especially since they're in administration. I thought they were different from other electric subscription services, but I was wrong.<br><br>When I gave back my Renault and Audi, they claimed there was serious damage that apparently happened after their driver picked up the cars. I take great care of my car and have photos of every part of it when I return it, so I knew this was all lies. I even get a full clean done the day before they pick it up.<br><br>Even though I asked for proof and details of the supposed damage, they couldn't provide anything. At first, they said my Audi had damage underneath that would've made it undriveable, but when I asked for more info, they took it back. However, the second time, they made up claims about my wheels, bumper, and wing, and even though they took back the bodywork claim, they still charged me £270 for two scratched wheels that I argued against.<br><br>Avoid this company and go for EZOO instead. They're clearly just after a quick profit at the expense of their customers' trust and money.
Subscription for a car
I can't believe those lads are still at it - haven't they run out of cash yet or what? Urgh, let me know when they're shutting up shop for good! They keep hiking up their prices, it's going to be the final nail in the coffin for them - not like they don't have it coming. Just so you know, I'm sticking to what I've already said to you. No chance I'm staying as your customer.
Two-year car rental
Everything was going fine until they went into administration and asked for the car back. They said they would let me know about any extra charges but never did. By the time they wanted the extra payment, I had already spent the money I had saved for it. Even though I tried to talk to them and pay, they threatened me with debt collectors. Really unprofessional and dodgy behaviour.
