Wedding dress purchase
I went to the store recently to find a dress for a wedding, and I was really shocked by how one of the staff members treated us. My friend wasn't allowed to take her shoes into the changing room to try them on with the dress, which was a bit weird. But then when she came out to try on some heels, a staff member said something really mean about her stomach, pointing at it and saying, "it just doesn't do much for you there, does it?" It was terrible to hear that kind of body shaming, especially when some customers might already be struggling with feeling good about themselves. I used to work in retail myself, so I know how important it is to be respectful and kind to customers. This whole thing left my friend upset and embarrassed, and she ended up leaving the store without buying anything. It's just really sad to see staff being so hurtful and unprofessional.
