    Hometree Boiler Cover

    I originally switched to Hometree about 3 years back because having been with British Gas for at least 30 years, I just found that BG monthly cover costs were becoming too exhorbitant. This year, after Hometree's annual service where some draining and sludge cleaning was completed during that service. It was also found that the boiler required a full deep clean-out, an expansion vessel replaced and other repair/updae matters sorted. I thought Hometree might drop me as a customer. Wrong! I was so impressed that Hometree stated they would get that done with just the usual £60 call-out charge to pay. The repairing engineer was an actual (very friendly) Worcester engineer who sorted the whole thing out (plus some extra asides repaired too). When I asked him what would have been paid had it been a non-Hometree covered job, he said Worcester would have charged about £550 for work and parts if not more. I feel I've been given genuine value for once by a Home Cover Company. I'll be making sure to stay with Hometree for a few more years now so I can repay their decision with some loyalty.
