    Marble Table

    First of all I would like to say I know the shop is not entirely to blame for this but they are who I purchased from, so the blame has to be placed somewhere.

    My entire purchase has been a nightmare from beginning to end. After a 6 week wait for our Expensive marble table, this was finally delivered. The card board box was in a bad way, and the Marble top for the table inside was snapped clean in half. Obviously angry and frustrated I struggled to get in to contact with Woods. It took almost 5 hours to get a call back and a replacement sent out. Two days later I waited in for delivery. The table was again delivered. And again this time the Marble was snapped clean in half. I was very angry again. but this time i found the easiest way to contact was through social media as clearly bad press is not good for a company. I had a answer much much quicker and the refund and pick up of both broken tables had been organised. Because obviously for me to dispose of two heavy large marble tables would be hard work. A further day later. Collection driver arrived but said he had only been informed of ONE pick up and refused to take the second. So I am stuck with one of these broken tables still. Woods cannot rearrange this collection for today or the weekend and think it is simply easy for me to arrange to stay at home from work to wait in for a 4th day for a collection. I decided to reject there "help" and will now dispose of the second table myself and take time out of my day yet again for a broken table that i do not want.
    In terms of refunds. I have been told it can take up to 14 days. which with everything that has gone on, seems too long for me. And even though its been two days since I asked for the refund, it still hasn't been processed because stupidly their accounts manager only works Monday-Wednesdays. So the 14 day wait for my money is already on a 6 day delay when it finally begins being processed come Monday. Which i find absolutely appalling.
    To avoid this bad review I was offered compensation, which would have only been a voucher for the shop, which after such a bad experience and view which i have now developed that they sell bad quality products in not entirely something I think I would want, and as they sell rather expensive items, would still leave me out of pocket and the last thing i want to give is this shop more of my money.
    From other bad reviews I have read about how they didn't get delivery charge back as a refund, I wouldn't be surprised if this happened to me as every thing they said they Would do, they haven't managed to, and i made a point about how i better get the delivery cost back, and they assured me i would. If i don't, a further review will be issued.

    Would not recommend and would not use again.
