Review about: Safestore
Storage but never again!
I was assured on my first enquiry that my items would fit into a 50 sq container. After this I decided to leave my 3 seater sofa and not store it so thought more than enough room. I was at the time over an hour away from Safestore when the removals guys left, I understood I didn’t need to be at the other end on their arrival. About 2 hours later I received a call stating my items would not fit into the container and that I needed to attend to sort it out. I arrived about 90 minutes later, bearing in mind the removals was paid by the hour. The Removals guys were waiting for further instruction, I ended up having to hire another container at extra cost, plus another padlock plus more insurance.on top of this there was extra cost (double) for removals as I’d taken up an extra 3 hours of their time. If I had been given the correct advice, it would have saved me a lot of money, I was obviously not happy about this and voiced my dissatisfaction to Safestore only to be faced with disinterest and ignorance.

its as blunt as stay far away from them , they are dishonest in their claims and practice's and you will 100% be conned without a care or response. Regards billing when more than one Manager/Location states to your face that 28 days added to the 24th November is the 15th of December its blatantly obvious what is going on here, how they rinse you and simply act daft when challenged. Let this be the I told you so if you decide to use this shady operator.
