Education course Free Trial
This company is dishonest. I signed up to the free trial and according to them did not cancel on time so they took one month's charge of £49.99. They refused to refund the money and but said they cancelled the membership and would give me six months free. BUT they continued to charge me and have not refunded the money. It,s made me very unhappy and distressed. Avoid this company.

Free trail
A scam. Signed up for a month free trial and money was taken from my account. I have been bonbarded with emails, watsapps, voicemails, calls on a daily basis. Now that I want my refund these calls have conventionally stopped just when I need to speak to someone. It should be shut down its an absolute disgrace and the course material can easily be found on Youtube for free and without all of the hassle!
Be careful they will take this down. I left a very very bad review exactly like yours this morning and its no longer here. This will be gone by tomorrow. I faced the same problems as you, they took £69.99 from me AFTER I cancelled my subscription. It's completely ruined my week.
The company is a scam front and if I have to come and leave a negative review every single day until I receive the money they have unlawfully taken from my account one and a half months after cancellation, I will. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Totally unreliable and terrible customer service. I am furious that they took £69.99 AFTER I cancelled my membership. I have 240 emails from them since April asking me to come back. They SPAM your inbox. Dreadful. DO NOT TRUST. I called my bank and they said that they get complaints about Shaw Academy all the time.

I echo all of the recent comments on this site. The Trust Pilot reviews MUST be fake, because the service is beyond atrocious. I've been trying to escape from them for 3 weeks now. The course is ok, but their admin and heavy handed marketing tactics really stink. They bombard you with emails and texts all contradicting each other. Even when it seems as if a real person is replying to the emails, it isn't, it's just 'cleverly' worded automated responses. I know someone who used them a few years ago and she says they were fine then. But they certainly are not now. They have been taking serious advantage of people in this difficult time and they should be investigated for fraud and closd down.I totally agree. I realised half-way through my free trial (Graphic Design) the course was not relevant and wasn't what I needed to be learning. Heavy-handed is definitely the right way to describe the marketing technique. The constant texts, emails and un-closable pop-ups coercing you to buy a toolkit or a certificate was extremely off-putting and felt almost like harassment. I've just gone through the cancellation process and thankfully it was possible, but unnecessarily long-winded, and shaming: "You signed up for a reason, and we hate to see our students give up on their goal, especially in the current climate. If you want to secure your future by continuing the course press 1, if you want to give up your hopes and dreams and be a failure press 2." Wow.
Hi LT, how were you able to cancel. I'm trying to cancel to. Sent an email as couldn't see any other option in my account. And the options ...yeah...wow, very unnecessary.
This happened to me too. They took £69.99 AFTER I cancelled my subscription. Disgraceful and disgusting. My bank told me they get complaints like this all the time to do with this company. I'm sorry you also had to go through this!
