    Classic clip-on veneers

    I honestly don't know where to start. Please, avoid this firm if you can.

    I ordered an upper and lower classic clip-on veneer in June. First off – these clip-ons do not resemble natural teeth or, professional dental treatments such as veneers or implants. They are HUGE! I mean, Katie Price enormous. I have added a photo to give you a good laugh! Secondly, due to their enormity you cannot close your mouth to chew - your bite is forced to stay open. Instasmiles website says you can eat in them but you can't (unless you ... your food like a baby). Thirdly, the fit is extremely tight and the veneers are painful to clip in and to wear. I wrote an email to Instamile and provided more than 20 images and videos. They remade the lower veneer which made no difference at all. After 6 weeks of chasing, they closed my case and advised me that the discomfort was normal (even after 8 weeks) and that their team deemed my veneers to be a “good fit”. Given that Instasmile don't employ any actual dental professionals in the business (the veneers are made in a 3D printer) I don’t believe they are qualified to advise on fit, or, manufacture ... appliances that claim to be an “alternative” to professional dental treatments.

    Fortunately, my family dentist of 10 years agreed to write a professional opinion on the products so that I could claim my money back from my credit card company. His report stated that the veneers were a poor fit, and they would likely damage my natural teeth. I have attached the body of the letter to this review. Given that Instasmiles products are supposedly “recommended” by leading dentists around the world, my dentist was not impressed!

    Instasmile were not interested in seeing my dentists report, as expected. Thankfully, American Express were happy to receive the report, along with other evidence, and have refunded me my money.

    I have no issues with the products I have purchased- you get what you pay for. My issue is with customer service and delivery. I pay for next day delivery and never receive this service. I ordered products a week ago and received half the order today. No idea when I will receive the other half. I also placed another next day delivery order on Wednesday- today is sat and I still haven’t received it. Customer service is very poor- they tell me to wait two weeks. They don’t offer any refund of postage or acknowledge the poor service, they really don’t care. No direct telephone contact line so everything is in writing. They shouldn’t offer a service that they can’t offer.
