    Easy to order plus the reminders are a god send however I believe the reason this service is free is IMO down to the fact that the cost to the nhs is more than if you were to use a local pharmacy as the meds despatched are the ones that cost more to buy sometimes three times as much when you check the dispensing costs of”brands”

    My review shows I sayd I would use again I never said that abc I won’t be using again as refuse to let them rip nhs off by providing the most expensive branded meds - plus my local pharmacy is a small independent whom k would rather support now

    I myself have had no problem with Echo Pharmacy, but my 91 year old father has had nothing but trouble, his urgent prescriptions have been delayed for no good reason by echo pharmacy, often the items he has required have been out of stock, and errors at echo's facility have resulted in his prescriptions being stuck in the system instead of a human being sorting the problem out. I am disgusted as it results in anxiety and anguish which amounts to abuse of the elderly in my book. Shame on you Lloyds pharmacy, you should provide an expedited service for errors YOU have made. this is not a case of an elderly person doing something wrong, as I have set the app up and do the ordering for him, this is a case of echo being at fault to the detriment of my father.

    My babys prescription went here over a week ago. After 5 days I contacted them to see where my sons milk was as he was getting low, to be told it hadn't even been ordered, they ordered ot that day and a further 2 days later still no milk and I had to cut a feed out of my babys routine. Requested my prescription back as I had a max of 2 feeds left in the current tub. Sent it to whitworth and it is ready to collect today, ordered at 2pm on a Monday collecting 11am on Tuesday. Super stressful using echo thinknill stick with whitworth

    Last time I ordered with Echo, I received my order when I had one tablet left. This time I have 2 tablets left, despite giving 2 weeks notice and no despatch notification as of yet. What am I supposed to do when I run out. Won't be using Echo ever again, at least I will have some control over my necessary medication!

    Absolutely disgraceful service. Ordered my meds to be picked up at the pharmacy. The most important and urgent item was missing. Tried to phone echo twice and kept waiting for 15 mins each time only to find could not get through. Emailed via their website twice and got no reply even though it promises a reply within 24 hrs. Phoned the pharmacy twice and visited twice only to be told they knew nothing. Echo stated in their email that pharmacies have a facility to supply emergency meds. At no time was I offered this. Finally they got back to me some 12 days later by email to inform me that they had sent my prescription to the NHS spine and supplying me with a number which I had to take to the pharmacy again to be downloaded. Needless to say I will not be using them again.

    To quote Echo's response to complaints ..."It's not the service we aim to provide'
    And it's true for too many that enrole....
    1 If an out of stock situation occurs then despatch for any other item on the prescription will also be withheld -you will not be notified of any delay unless you contact echo so you wait in expectation
    2 If your prescription has more than 4 items you will be asked to confirm just 4. Echo explain they are not allowed to list more than four so patients are unsure about the status of remaining items. Echo state separate emails are sent for remaining items but if this does happen it can be some considerable time later again creating uncertainty as to if it will actually happen. (A good system would send all emails required at the same time)
    3. Where urgent medicines are required Echo will on request return prescriptions to a local chemist - and they do confirm when they have done it However it can be many hours - even days before the chemist acknowledges it's receipt. (On 31st December I was informed Prescription was now available for collection from the chemist - On January 4th Chemist informed me it was 'not on the system'

    4. There are too many 'out of stock' ocurrences Standard response is "Its back in stock in 1-2 days" but the reality is its sometimes much longer... and you will not be informed of an ongoing delay.... until you enquire about the further delay

    As they say " It's not the service they aim to provide and certainly not good enough for a supplier of essential medicines.

    It's is a case of cross your fingers and hope you are one of the people that can write good reviews
