    I got engaged, in Paris three weeks ago now. 2 1/2 of those weeks your high Wycombe branch has had the ring for resize as my fingers are so small.
    On handing the ring back, the lady was lovely, said it return ready for collection on the 29th.
    We popped in last Wednesday 26th to just get an update/see if it was lucky to arrived early. Met by a lady whom wouldn’t get a straight answer. Said it ‘might be back Friday, maybe Sat or maybe Sunday. Maybe sometime’ generally wasn’t fussed or helpful, kept trying to pass us off so she could get back to standing by back counter doing nothing I guess. - not really something we expect to deal with but ok fairs we was calling in unannounced, not invited in to collect.
    29th come and gone, no contact. Roll on to today, called the branch 3 times, no answer. So we got in the car, drove down. Greets by a man, whom wouldn’t even provide us an update. Had to point out lady whom we saw Wednesday in her same position did.
    So he reluctantly he checks the system. States it’s not in. speaks in a down tone when I request a manager to discuss his lack of help, or want to apologise. To be meet with ‘I am the most senior person here’
    I ask to know why it’s taking so long and what can be done. Meet with ‘ok, we have contact details’

    I’m appalled. Ruined the whole point of excitement. Can’t bare the idea of someone so careless and lack of ability of giving two ... to have been involved in it.
    Honestly I’m disgusted. Shocked that’s how they treat people.

    I would like you to be aware of how your staff treat customers and their complete lack of service. Even in a senior position.
    Now i have been informed they have lost it! and I have to collect a refund as I am not happy to wait another 2 weeks for them to bother with it again !

    Then to top it off even their head office isnt bothered ! clearly great at their services. avoid at all costs because they dont care

    Battery changing

    I had been using F.Hinds for years. Having service life battery changing. This time I had very horrible experience. I did give 3 watches. They did not put in a system 3 watch which was my son watch, Tottenham supporter watch. The manager of Crawley shop Nicole was extremely rude as well as sale assistant Dorota G.. I described the watch by saying Tottenham supporter black watch. She could not find. Advising the watch is not in a store. I asked to call a person whom was taking my watches on Saturday they refused to do. I found the pic of the watch on my camera, then they found the watch. Saying they do not know how Tottenham support watch looking like. And saying I had described it wrong. Sorry what about to spend 2 min and google or do anything to provide the best customer survive. On a first place the shop assistant did not put in a system 3 watch. Then they just say the watch not in a store. Without even properly looking. They should not work in a customer service with the attitude they provide to customers. I would never ever use this store. I do not know whom put such a rude person as a manager too.

    Engagement ring

    My husband bought my engagement ring here and it lasted 3 years before the diamond fell out, luckily it was into my hand, so we were able to take it in to get repaired. They repaired all 4 of the clasps at a cost of £80, apparently it was not under guarantee anymore. However only a month later, the diamond fell out again, and this time was lost. I contacted customer service who said I should take it into the store and it should be under a repair guarantee. When I got to the store I was told that there was a note on the system from the repair saying they couldn’t promise that the stone wouldn’t fall out again. They said they could send it to be repaired again but it would probably cost me more. I declined. They then offered me their cash for gold scheme, and said they could give me store credit for £20 for it. What a joke. I regret allowing them to repair it and should have put the money towards a better made replacement from somewhere else.

    warch strap


    I bought a watch strap from Hinds and the top of the strap cracked and the fastener came off and i took it back to the shop and the manager was shocking.
    I had my receipt and he said that it was my skin that had caused the damage???So it was not fit for purpose.How can my skin cause damage to the top of the strap?
    Eventually he reimbursed me and took the watch and chopped off the strap and chucked in in the bin including the metal part of the watch that you attach the strap to.
    I didn't notice until I went into another jewelers and they pointed out that part of the watch was missing.
    I went all the way back to Hinds, and showed him what he had done.
    He never once apologise.or smiled during the time I was in the shop.
    Shocking that people like this have jobs.His manner was appalling I will never visit Hinds again.
