    Fridge freezer

    I purchased a fridge freezer from this store, but it was completely wrong. Firstly, it had a broken light, and when they sent a replacement, it still didn't work. They ended up giving me a new fridge, but that one was faulty as well. I had to request a refund, and now I definitely won't be shopping here again. I am really unhappy with the whole situation.

    Fridge freezer Order

    I ordered a fridge freezer but the company cancelled it saying there was a pricing error. It's really frustrating and disappointing, I was excited to get it. To top it off, they didn't offer any compensation or goodwill gesture to make up for the inconvenience. I think a reputable company should have better customer service than this.

    If you're after top-notch customer service, speedy responses, and competitive prices, then you're in the right place! The delivery costs are reasonable, and the delivery drivers are always on time and really pleasant. We had a little problem once, but they went above and beyond to assist us, especially considering we have a baby at home. I highly recommend them for all your appliance requirements. On top of that, you can collect points for future purchases, which is an added bonus!

    I recently had a washing machine delivered, and the two young chaps who came were absolutely brilliant. They were so polite, kind, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was set up just right. I couldn't have asked for better service. If I could, I'd give them 10 stars!     Induction hob purchase

    I bought an induction hob from this company not too long ago and I have to say I was really let down by the whole thing. When it arrived, the hob was in a bit of a state - the packaging was all messed up, there was grease on the surface, and it seemed like it had been used before. The delivery guy didn't seem to take much care with it either, so I only noticed the damage when I got home and opened it up.

    Wow, I ordered a washing machine and a dishwasher from this place and they came and installed them for me. The driver even gave me a ring before arriving and got everything done fast and professional. I'm really pleased with the service they provided for me.

    Freezer purchase issue

    I had a bit of a nightmare with the freezer I bought from Boots recently. It conked out after less than 3 months, and they couldn't fix it. When I rang up Boots customer services to get a replacement, I hit a load of problems. The first one they offered me was way bigger than my original, and I'd have to cough up an extra £120. The other options they suggested weren't really what I needed, and even though I mentioned I have a disability, they tried to fob me off with a freezer that wasn't frost-free, saying it wouldn't matter much. To top it off, they initially said they'd cover the cost of the food I lost when the freezer broke, but then changed their minds and said they wouldn't. So, after getting really fed up, I decided to just ask for a refund, but they said that would take a few weeks to sort out. And the whole collection of the broken freezer was a mess as well, with mix-ups and delays, leaving me without a freezer for ages. All in all, I was pretty disappointed with how Boots and their supplier dealt with everything.

    Fridge Freezer

    I’m a huge fan of Boots and mistakenly assumed that the same quality of service would be carried through to Boots Appliances. The fridge freezer they delivered was broken; the fridge temperature wouldn’t go below 14.6C and it was making an awful noise. After waiting 30 minutes on the line to get through to an agent, I reported the issue the day after delivery at which point it was established that the delivery drivers had made a mistake by pushing the appliance against the back wall. The delivery drivers returned to move the appliance but the temperature and noise issues remained. I called again to exercise my right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act but was informed that I needed a manufacturer engineer to visit in order to certify that the fridge freezer was indeed broken; my word or indeed the video and photos I sent them were apparently not sufficient. Boots Appliances agreed to refund me the £10 I paid for installation but have point blank refused to refund the £10 extra I paid for delivery on a certain day; I honestly can’t understand the rationale for that decision because although I did get a fridge delivered on the specified day… it didn’t actually work! I had a totally different experience when dealing with the manufacturer (Indesit) both in simply being able to get through to them on the phone line to them actually taking steps to rectify the issue. Indesit have since replaced the fridge freezer which was correctly installed by very friendly delivery drivers. Based on my experience, I suggest you cut out the middle man and order directly from Indesit.

    Bosch Dishwasher

    Ordered a Bosch dishwasher for delivery 4 days later and it did not arrive! Waited in for 12 hours. Rang them and they said it had not been loaded onto the van, even though I had a message to say it had. I got it redelivered but all I got was the £30 delivery refunded, which would have been free anyway and even then only after having to phone again. AO are getting Boots a bad name.
    I will not be using AO again in a hurry.

    This is the worst seller I've come across in my life. We bought a refrigerator. Never in my life has a light burned up in a fridge, but this one did. The whole unit is damaged. Wrote and mailed to Boots, filled in their webform. Called them but after 30 minutes waiting still no answer. Never ever again will we buy from these crooks again.
