    Stayed at a holiday park

    I stayed at this holiday park last week and to be honest, it wasn't that great. The caravan was really old, kinda smelly, and I couldn't believe it didn't even have a kitchen sink plug. Plus, the whole place was up this massive hill, which was a bit of a struggle for me with my health stuff. The entertainment was seriously dull and there wasn't much fun stuff for kids to do. I felt like I wasted my money, so I ended up leaving a day earlier than planned.

    Holiday Chalet at St Ives Holiday Park

    We booked and paid for a GOLD standard chalet at John Fowlers St Ives Holiday park. On arrival we were put into what was obviously a lower standard chalet which was also adapted for wheelchair users.
    (Not requested). We saw the site manager who fobbed us off with excuses. We left our weeks holiday early and contacted John Fowler with our complaint. Mainly that we should have been provided with what we had paid for. This company doesnt even have the decency to reply to our enquiry. This is a holiday company to avoid ! I will never book a holiday with them again.

    Perrin View Holiday Park

    Accomadation was very nice as it has just been renovated. The facilities and entertainment on site were terrible. Entertainment was either not on or changed and when it was in it was very poor. Also think that the children’s entertainer they had on was slightly inappropriate as the best he could come up with was to pull a bra out of a child’s shirt when trying to entertain children all under the age of ten
    . Think a lot more should be provided for the money spent during peak season. Have used John Fowler before on a few occasions but don’t think I will be booking with them again or would I recommend to anybody else especially anyone with kids.

    We have returned home after a bad time at burham sandy glade our chalet number 72 was really ... and have put a complaint in at the office the worst was the beds we both suffer from arthritis and could not get any comfort from the bed.my wife spent time buying cleaning materials to clean the kettle was leaking and bowl I changed as other split. We arrived Monday at 4.30 and left at 9.00am Wednesday we are booked and paid in full for another week in March 22 i have been with John fowler for at least 16 years and always been satisfied and came back but now I am thinking twice.i hate complaining but I think a refund is in reason. Thamkyou t walls
