Some times back I came to know about Academic Singles and their services.
Well, I just wish to complete registration but how difficult to read their all terms and conditions.
This is matter of heart to heart why so much boundaries ..In fact if you sale or buy any property, even will not face such huge terms.
Make it simple.

I had very disappointing experience. From the beginning they trick me with a money. The moment you pay them, they making very difficult to cancel your subscription, they definitely don’t want to return you money, and making sure that you renew your subscription, because it’s very difficult to cancel,very frustrating. Service, what they promised, they never provide. I would not recommend to anybody to use this dating service. I feel very unsafe there, this company can not be trusted.

so was lured into opening an account by blurred-out seemingly genuine messages; paid £100 to join then found they were autobots, total scam, Buyer beware. AS blocked me from using the account as I blocked the payment, so couldn't confirm was within my rights under Consumer Act 1975. Now have debt-collector chasing with further costs. Buyer beware - avoid this scam site, horrible experience.
I wish I knew about J4Love.net before I joined AcademicSingles
I figured out how fake the site was on my first day there, cancelled and got charged the next day for 3-month membership. I had to block my bank card. The only dating site that I trust now is

- at least I had three real in-person dates via this platform. They have many well-educated, brilliant ladies. AcademicSingles is the complete opposite. It’s overwhelmingly fake. It’s a shame they get away with scamming people all over the world.Dating app

signed up, realised it's a scam so cancelled. Now being threatened with debt collectors for not renewing! Can't access account to obtain proof of timely cancellation. Avoid at all costs, total con and very stressful.

Academic Singles make it impossible to unsubscribe once joined. Once they have your credit card details they exploit you and rob you of future payments as it is impossible to unsubscribe. Emails, notice are unable to be sent.

I thought I had cancelled my subscription months ago, but found that Academic Singles had tried to take payment from an account I closed 6 weeks ago. Rather than contact me to discuss, they have sent threatening emails and I have now reluctantly wasted £140 to get them off my back.
Appalling service and non existant customer care.
Once these dating sites have got their claws on you, it is impossible to break free. Their contract terms are far from clear except when they want some money. AVOID AT All COSTSTheft
WARNING DO NOT JOIN AVOID LIKE COVID 19 VIRUS - I am going to Trading Standards as they do not respect consumer rights. Wish I had read the bad reviews before making the mistake of joining. They are scam artists who take your money by trickery, they refused or observe my consumer right to cancellation. I opted for I month and was billed for 6months. They believe offering to cancel my subscription after 6months is a gesture of goodwill which suggests they normally make it impossible or difficult for most subscribers to cancel. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

I’ve just been duped. Thought I was getting charged £7.99. Been charged £196!!!! Have contacted my bank. Such a scam!!!!!
How did you stop their threatening letters . I also wrote to them to cancel and have proof .. but they are still saying I still owe them because of terms and conditions etc . For some reason my credit card didn’t work for them which is good but do I just ignore their threatening emails ? Thanks
