Beautiful shoes, poor quality
I bought some lovely shoes from that shop I'd been wanting for ages. Sadly, they turned out to be really disappointing. I had to take two of the three pairs back because they didn't fit properly, which was annoying but I could understand. But then the third pair I kept broke after only a month of wearing them occasionally. The chunky heel on them collapsed inside, so now I can't wear them at all. It's such a shame because they look so nice, but the terrible quality means they're just not worth the money.

When I signed up, I found out that this platform tricks people into buying a subscription. You think you're getting messages from potential partners, but they're actually just automated. And if you try to cancel, they make it really hard by hiding the confirmation deep in the fine print, so you have to chase them. They even send scary emails demanding payment for a subscription you already cancelled, which just makes the whole experience more stressful. And then they go and block your account, making it even more frustrating to try and deal with their shady ways.

I bought a garden sofa set from this company recently, hoping to get it in time for the Bank Holiday weekend. Sadly, I was really disappointed with the whole thing. They said it would be delivered on Wednesday, but then I got a call in the afternoon saying it was postponed until the next day. The next day, after waiting around all day, they told me the delivery couldn't be done because of some issue with the driver's tachograph reading, so he had to go back without my furniture. This meant my Bank Holiday weekend was completely ruined because I didn't have any garden furniture to enjoy the sunshine with. When I phoned up to complain, all they said was "we're sorry about that", and eventually they cancelled my order. It's not right to give a delivery date if you can't stick to it, it just makes for a bad and annoying customer experience.

Sent a two-year-old Galaxy S10+ to musicMagpie as a trade-in. Was quoted £135. Phone was in excellent condition, just a few minor scuffs, as you'd expect from a used phone. Once they received the phone, the quote was lowered to £35 due to a "cracked or smashed screen." I've had issues with trade-in companies before whereby they claim damage to reduce the quote in the hope that you accept. I had my suspicions, declined their offer and received the phone back. Sure enough, the screen was in near-perfect condition.
This is a common scam and reports of it across the internet are rife. However, I believe that it's legal, as these companies typically give you the opportunity to decline their offer and receive your item back. It's still incredibly poor practice, though. My advice is to trade in your phone with a mobile network provider (for a bit less money) or sell it on eBay (for a bit more).
Do not use this company, as they won't honour your quote. Even if you sent in a brand-new device I imagine they'd find "damage" of some kind. The giveaway is in this company's name - musicMagpie. Fake Dior sunglasses! I had a Dior Technologic sunglasses for 3 years bought from Dior store in Manhattan. Recently somebody stole it, so I ordered the exact model and color from this website. When they sent me my order, as soon as I opened the box, I got shocked because of the difference from my original one. I could easily notice that lenses are fake because I had it before. If a buyer buy this for the first time, she would think that this is authentic. The lenses were much more light color and clear. Then I called them, and they accepted the lenses were changed but they accused DIOR that they hadn’t test the product before release!!!! Which is impossible. I never ever again will shop anything from them; because you pay the price for original but you’ll get fake!

I visited the new Windlesham store this week and I was left VERY unimpressed.
Firstly their website states it's in the old Wylevale garden centre. It's not. It's in a warehouse at the back of the carpark. When I mentioned this to the member of staff when I finally located it, I was told there were 4 clear signs and he implied I was blind. Yup a great sales technique for someone wanting to spend over a £1000 on garden furniture. However it took a good 20 mins of me wandering around to get any attention what so ever. It would appear a mother with a toddler in tow doesn't classify as a valid customer worth your salesman's time.
I was peeved but liked the furniture, so went back with the well behaved toddler and my husband today. Again I was COMPLETELY ignored and the second my husband came off his conference call he was smothered in attention.
We really liked a set but realised it was over £100 cheaper at Homebase and when we asked if they'd price match they said yes but not Homebase, turned on their heel and stomped off.

When asked if we would price match Homebase we refused because they did not have stock, they were showing out of stock on their website. We are, as a company not allowed to price match unless certain criteria are met. One of the criteria is that the goods must be available within the same delivery time frame as we offer.
It is very unusual for us to write such a candid reply to a review but felt Tina Wizard has so unfairly reviewed us that we had respond and put our side of the story across.
