Undercounter fridge purchase
I was really looking forward to getting my undercounter fridge from this company, but I have to say, my experience ended up being a letdown. To start with, they changed the delivery date because the item was out of stock, but then they ended up delivering it on the original date anyway. The guys who brought it were nice enough, but then I saw the state of the fridge - scratched and marked, looking like it had already been used. Plus, the back feet were just bare metal plates that could damage my worktop. When I checked inside, I found crumbs under the shelves, even though I hadn't put any food in there yet. And on top of all that, the fridge was so noisy, driving me mad because I'm really sensitive to sound. As a disabled customer who'd been without a fridge for months, this whole thing was a real letdown and really frustrating.

I popped into the shop on my birthday to treat myself to some new clothes. I found two pieces that I really liked and headed to the self-checkout to pay. Long story short, I ended up being charged twice for the same items, even though the manager assured me it wouldn't go through.
I've been struggling to get a refund from customer service, despite having all the receipts to prove what happened. Dealing with this whole situation has been a nightmare, especially as a student without much money to spare. On top of that, the store was really short-staffed and the staff were unhelpful, rude, and dismissive during the whole hour I had to wait around. Despite all this, the team at Ponden Home, especially Steph, were amazing. They gave me a refund on the delivery fee and refunded the cost of the items that never arrived without any hassle. It's important to remember that it wasn't Ponden Home's fault that EVRI UK Ltd caused such problems with the delivery.

I'm afraid to say that this company has been rather dishonest in my opinion. Even though I cancelled my subscription before the trial ended, they still took £120 from me for a 3-month fee. And what's more, the website claims to be focused on academics, but there's no check to see if users are actually students or professionals. It looks like profiles are being used over and over again and don't really represent a real academic community. I would really recommend that other people steer clear of this platform.

Villa exceeded expectations
The villa we stayed at was absolutely fantastic! It really exceeded our expectations. Everything we could have possibly needed was readily available, and the view was breathtaking. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, we almost felt like we were in a movie! We also took advantage of the nearby railway to visit other towns along the coast, which was a great experience. The concierge service was exceptional, both at the villa and wherever else we required assistance.
