    Pain relief patch

I bought a pain relief patch from this shop, hoping it would help with my chronic pain. The store said the patch works by improving communication between the brain and the affected areas without needing medication or electrical currents. But, even after using the patch as instructed, I didn't feel much better. The patch is meant to soak up the body's energy and redirect it, linking the painful spot to the brain. Terms like "capacitors," "nociceptive signals," and "dysfunctional axons" were used to explain how it works. However, pain management experts have questioned this theory, saying it doesn't match what we know about pain biology. The patch supposedly contains lots of silver and copper nanoparticles acting as tiny capacitors, but there isn't enough proof to back up these claims. The placebo effect is also important to consider when looking at its effectiveness. An industry-funded study, the PREVENT study, was done to check if the patch works. But it had issues, like not having a placebo group, unequal treatment and control groups, and doubts over how participants were chosen and assigned to groups. In the end, despite what the store says about the pain relief patch improving communication between the painful area and the brain, pain biology experts don't agree, and current studies don't strongly support these claims. The store's explanation of how it works doesn't seem to match what we know about pain.

    Useless patches

I bought these patches for me and a mate, hoping they would work miracles. Turns out, they did absolutely nothing. What's even worse is that the patches were too stiff to put on parts of the body that bend or have delicate skin. Don't bother wasting your cash on them, find something else that does the job instead.
