Compostable flip flops
I got myself a pair of these compostable flip flops back in March, and I was buzzing to support a company that's all about sustainability. The whole concept of having fully compostable shoes is brilliant, and I've got to hand it to the brand for being ahead in the game. But, I gotta say, my excitement quickly took a nosedive when I tried them out today and ended up with two blisters on each foot. Ouch! I had to give in and switch back to my old, falling-apart O'Neills. I was really looking forward to wearing these babies out and about, but now I need to let my poor feet recover.
