Internet service for elderly friend
I've been helping out my elderly friend with his internet from DirectSave for about three years now. We picked them in the beginning because they were affordable, but the speeds have stayed slow and the prices have gone up. It doesn't seem like great value for money anymore.
Dealing with customer service has been a nightmare for my friend and me. He struggles to hear them on the phone, and we've had trouble setting up his online account because the system wasn't sending us emails. It's been a real struggle to manage his account.
Recently, my friend decided to move to a new flat, which made us look for a cheaper and faster internet provider. When we called DirectSave to cancel his account, they wouldn't talk to me on the phone because of "data protection issues," even though we had all the info needed to cancel. This left my friend feeling upset and confused, so we're thinking of just cancelling the direct debit and moving on.Review about: Simply Log Cabins
Garden shed/bar purchase
I bought a garden shed/bar recently and I must say, I'm really happy with it. It came on time and was placed exactly where I wanted it. The shed/bar itself is top-notch quality and we've already hosted a few get-togethers in there. I did need a hand from my partner to put together the roof, as it was quite heavy, but the instructions made the whole construction process pretty easy. After a few tweaks, everything fitted together perfectly.

Photography training program
I recently took part in a photography training course that completely blew me away. The instructor, who I won't name, was so knowledgeable and happy to share their real-life experiences to help us get better at photography. The course offered top-notch training and learning opportunities at a really reasonable price. I am so happy with the quality of teaching and the whole experience. A huge thank you to the team behind the course for all their hard work and dedication.

Purchase of 3 plants
I purchased 3 plants online expecting them to be really nice and in full bloom upon arrival. Much to my disappointment, this was not the case at all! One of the plants was a tiny hydrangea and it arrived squished and broken. The clematis was practically half-dead, which made me wonder why they bothered sending it. Additionally, the buds on one of the stems were all crushed. It was honestly not very pleasant. As for their customer service, oh don't even get me started! I sent them photos and completed the form, but they still haven't taken any action. It's all just very frustrating!

Outdoor storage box purchase
I recently bought an outdoor storage box from Garden Sanctuary, and I have to say, it's absolutely fantastic. It's got a really big capacity and looks really stylish, so it's ideal for storing all our outdoor cushions, beach and holiday stuff, and even our boots and shoes. It's been a game-changer for freeing up space in our tiny conservatory, and I couldn't be happier with it.
That said, I do have to give you a heads up about putting it together. The assembly process was a bit of a nightmare for my husband and son. There were loads of tiny screws and nuts and bolts that came with the box, and then to top it off, all the metal parts were wrapped up in cling film that was a nightmare to get off in one go. Despite the rain pouring down outside, we spent a good two hours sitting on the floor trying to piece it all together. My poor son ended up cutting his finger, and my husband managed to slice his hand, but they soldiered through and got the job done in the end.
Once it was all set up, though, it looked brilliant - like a piece of furniture that was made to match our home perfectly. I'd definitely recommend this storage box, but just be prepared for a bit of a challenge when it comes to assembly.Review about: Lavish Alice
Three dresses for a wedding
I have to admit, I was pretty let down and annoyed by the customer service team at first. They told me my refund was on its way, but I waited ages and nothing came through. After many attempts to chase it up, I finally heard back from someone who sorted it out fast. Matthew was great - really helpful and quick to fix things, turning my bad situation into a good one. I'm grateful for the speedy help and think he did a top job.
