Needed these parts fast for a weekend DIY (moving house, back pain made it urgent), so I ordered through a big retailer expecting days — not months. They said shipped, then silence, then told me items wouldn't arrive for nearly two months. Annoying and a bit dishonest, as stock is clearly direct from China, and unhelpful customer service.
Exactly what we needed
Went in needing something to stop our garden parasol blowing over after one too many storms. When the box arrived a couple of days later and the glass top was intact, I knew I’d picked well. It was packed sensibly, feels solid and looks nicer than expected. Bit surprised at the quality for the price, does the job, no fuss at all, and I'm pleased.
Unassuming yet solid
We'd just moved and needed somewhere decent to sit with my sore back — something stable and not too high. Ordering was straightforward, customer service answered a question about height quickly, and the delivery team were punctual and careful which was a relief. The round black glass looks nicer than photos, reflects the sky in a subtle way and hasn't shown marks after a few coffees. Sturdy, no fuss.
Late but refund finally sorted
frustrating delivery, but at least they refunded me in the end. I ordered a sink for the cafe on 30 June. They promised next‑day delivery on 5 July which never turned up. For 11 days I waited, which pushed back the opening and caused lost takings. Support was slow and mostly unhelpful, lots of silence and no clear answers. Eventually they offered a refund rather than a replacement and I accepted. Not ideal, I lost time, but relieved to have the money back so we could move on.
Garden storage box
AVOID THIS COMPANY.
It took 3 months for them to collect wrongly delivered item. They did all they could not to, but I persevered. When the correct garden storage box arrived it was ... quality and took 3 hrs to assemble. AVOIDSun-through canopy disappointment
the refund arrived without hassle. Overall this works only if you’re prepared to replace the cover. I’d be cautious buying from them again.
Delivery farce, but not all lost
their server was often offline, emails only seemed to arrive at 3am (odd), and the contact email would routinely fail to send. No phone number either, so every query felt like shouting into the void. The one bright spot was a very conscientious Evri driver — uploaded the delivery straight away and actually put it where it should be, which, well, deserves a small medal. I refused the parcel because I’d already bought an alternative from another seller on eBay who turned up two days earlier and had proper, solid quality stuff. The moment I knew I was genuinely satisfied? When I lay on the new topper and my back sighed — real relief, proper relief, not just hopeful. I’ve had to chase refunds, send a cease-and-desist to stop the follow-up nags, and now I’m mostly relieved and a bit bemused. Lesson learned, I suppose.
Waiting-by-the-door tale
website straightforward, checkout quick. Then the fun began. On day one I stayed in, tracking still insisted it would arrive that day, but nothing turned up and there’s no working phone number to call. I emailed and got a reply the next day saying the driver hadn’t collected the parcel yet and they’d chase it. Fair enough, they were polite, but the tracking stubbornly kept saying “delivered yesterday” like a broken record — that was the worst bit, really confusing and annoying. A few days later another email popped up promising delivery between 8 and 6 again, so back to pacing by the window. Still no show. I’ll give them credit where it’s due: their replies are courteous and they seem to try to help, just very slow and no direct phone line. If you’re ordering something small and can’t hang around, think twice — the delivery side needs sorting. I’m still inclined to try them again because the product looked good and price was reasonable, but next time I’ll flag up tighter communication or ask for courier details from the start.
Quick delivery, poor follow-up
the lounger arrived faster than I expected, though the box was torn. That part was fine, product looked OK at first glance, but the reclining mechanism was a different story — it needs two people to lift both arms at once, impossible to adjust when you’re on it alone. I tried to sort it through the company, but that’s where things went downhill. Their website didn’t have clear contact details as DSR suggests, so I had to chase email replies. After a few messages they agreed to a return but insisted it was at my expense and kept asking for photos of damage that wasn’t the issue. I sent the lounger back; DPD confirmed delivery on 4 June 2025. Since then radio silence. I eventually found the trading name and reg no., reported the case to PayPal on 26 June 2025 and noted the original return request was 27 May 2025. I’ve dealt with other retailers far more helpfully, so this felt old-fashioned and poorly handled. Product itself had potential but the customer service and clarity around returns let it down.
Bike shed
I had the worst service ever! I ordered a bike shed back on the 19th of July 2023, but it still hasn't shown up. They just kept saying it was with the courier, but it never actually got delivered. After weeks of waiting, they eventually admitted it was out of stock and said I'd have to wait until the end of August! I had to make a PayPal claim because they were just keeping hold of my money for no reason. I'd definitely recommend avoiding them at all costs!
Garden storage box
I recently bought a garden storage box from Garden Sanctuary for my allotment and it fits the bill perfectly. It's a tidy little box that I'm counting on to store all my tools in an organised manner. Putting it together was pretty easy, although I have to confess it took me a bit longer than the advertised one second - maybe a slight exaggeration there! On the whole, I'm pleased with the product and its quality, and I'm excited to start using it to keep my gardening tools in one convenient spot.

I bought a garden storage box from this company not long ago and I have to admit, it was just what I needed. The quality of the item was top-notch and it lived up to all my expectations. The price was pretty fair too. However, I did have a little issue with the tracking number they gave me, it didn't seem to work. Despite that, the delivery took about a week, which was slightly longer than I hoped for but it was definitely worth it in the end.

I recently bought a bike shed from this company and I must say, I had a pretty good experience overall. Even though I'd seen some dodgy reviews, I found the ordering process to be quite straightforward and payment was a breeze. The only downside was that I didn't really get many updates on the shipping, which I reckon they could work on a bit.
Unsatisfactory ordering experience.
I had a really bad experience ordering from Garden Sanctuary. When I made an order, they said my payment looked dodgy and asked for proof. This caused lots of delays and we had to exchange a bunch of emails. The product I got in the end had issues with the way it was made and didn't match up to what they said on their website. I tried to cancel the order, but they said it had already been sent out, which wasn't true. The customer service wasn't great either, they didn't seem to know about our previous talks and the communication was all over the place. Overall, dealing with Garden Sanctuary was really annoying and left me feeling disappointed.
Awesome looking garden fencing
I've just installed this fantastic garden fencing that looks amazing! It's much better than regular old wooden fences. Because of this awesome fencing, my garden now looks really cool.
Product return
I had to send back an item to Garden Sanctuary recently because it didn't meet my requirements. Even though it was my mistake, I was really impressed with the service I got. Returning the product was simple and stress-free, and I got my money back in just 2 days, which was a nice surprise. When things go wrong, you can really tell how good a company is. I have to say, these guys really stood out to me with how quickly and professionally they handled everything. Big thanks to the team at Garden Sanctuary for doing a great job.
Garden Sanctuary product
I bought something from Garden Sanctuary but it was a really bad experience. The customer service was awful, my order arrived late and the excuse about Yodel not collecting it was just not good enough. When I emailed them, I found out they're actually Chinese drop shippers with their offices only in China. That's why they're not very good at communicating and don't care much about keeping customers happy. I wouldn't trust this company, they're not honest about how they work and don't sort out problems properly. Watch out for them!
Canopy purchase
I bought a canopy from this company not long ago and had a problem with the perspex. However, when I got in touch with them about it, they were really quick to get back to me and gave me a few choices on how to sort it out. In the end, they sent me a new order and made sure to keep me in the loop the whole time. I was really impressed with their customer service, it was top-notch and it definitely made my experience with them a good one. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again in the future.

New gate purchase
I recently got a new gate from an online store, and it arrived in good time and in a neat box. I needed it to replace my old gate, which was starting to look pretty unpleasant due to the bad weather we've been having. Even though the new gate came pre-treated, I decided to do a bit extra to make sure it lasts longer. I stained it and applied some varnish before installing it. Now my garden is looking really good with my brand new gate!
