    I'm really not happy with the internet connection I'm getting from this provider. It's just so bad. The speeds are nowhere near what they said they would be, and it keeps cutting out all the time, which makes it impossible for me to use more than one device at a time. I even tried using a booster from another company to make it better, but it didn't work at all. Honestly, the service is so unreliable, and I can't wait to change to a different provider as soon as I can.

    Internet service for elderly friend

    I've been helping out my elderly friend with his internet from DirectSave for about three years now. We picked them in the beginning because they were affordable, but the speeds have stayed slow and the prices have gone up. It doesn't seem like great value for money anymore.

    Dealing with customer service has been a nightmare for my friend and me. He struggles to hear them on the phone, and we've had trouble setting up his online account because the system wasn't sending us emails. It's been a real struggle to manage his account.

    Recently, my friend decided to move to a new flat, which made us look for a cheaper and faster internet provider. When we called DirectSave to cancel his account, they wouldn't talk to me on the phone because of "data protection issues," even though we had all the info needed to cancel. This left my friend feeling upset and confused, so we're thinking of just cancelling the direct debit and moving on.

I got in touch with Direct Save's customer support team and had a chat with a guy called Dean. He was really understanding and helpful, coming up with a solution for me. He even put a hold on my account until I could sort out the payment once my new debit cards came through. It was the personal touch that made such a difference, so I'd definitely suggest them if you're thinking about changing your broadband provider.
