Editing software
Hey everyone! I just wanted to share that I've been trying to improve my book as a writer, and I came across this amazing editing software that has been incredibly helpful! I realise my book will require some rewrites, but at least it won't be a complete disaster when I finally publish it. The tutorials provided are fantastic and so straightforward. Fantasy story writing tool
I've just been using this writing tool for my fantasy tale with elves and gnomes, you know. But I was pretty surprised when it called out "dwarf woman" for not being inclusive. It's really annoying when a writing tool starts telling me what I can and can't write in my creative stories. I just wanted some help with my grammar and writing, not for a program to bring politics and cultural issues into my work.
Long time user, improved AI tool
I've been using this writing tool for years and I've really seen it get better with time. I can see why some people have had issues with it in the past, but the new AI tool they've added has made a huge difference for me. It's made my writing process smoother and catches mistakes that I wouldn't have spotted myself. I really think it's worth a try, as I find it extremely helpful.
Help with my writing
I have this really neat tool that helps me improve my writing, like having a coach right on my computer. It's almost like magic, because it makes my words sound better and more accurate. The newsletter and blog are incredibly useful as well, providing me with tips and inspiration. I'm thrilled that I can now write pages that I feel proud of!
Broken tool, bad help
I recently started using this tool to assist me with writing, but all of a sudden it stopped working out of the blue. I attempted to use the help feature, but to my dismay, it proved to be completely useless. Following that, I reached out to the support team, however, they took forever to reply and did not offer much assistance. The whole situation was incredibly irritating!
Grammar checking tool trial
I initially struggled a bit with the grammar checker tool, but with some practice, I've managed to incorporate it into my writing routine along with other grammar tools. The free version is handy, although it does have limitations on word checking for longer texts.

Premium package purchase
I recently splashed out $110 on a top-tier package from this service. Right from the get-go, I ran into quite a few problems with the product. I tried reaching out to their customer service team several times via email but sadly, they don't have a phone number, so it was a bit tough to get in touch with them. The replies I did get didn't really help me much; they just told me to check out some blogs for answers. When I eventually asked for a refund because of all the ongoing problems, they put up quite a fight. After two weeks of going back and forth, they pointed to their refund policy and turned me down flat. Dealing with their unhelpful support and unreliable customer service has been nothing but frustrating.
Writing tool for editing and proofreading
I bought this writing tool for editing and proofreading not long ago. It turned out to be a bit of a nightmare because it didn't really work properly with Google Docs. I was under a lot of pressure to finish a book in time, so this was a real pain. I tried everything to get it to work, but it just wouldn't cooperate. When I decided to cancel my subscription and get my money back, which was supposed to be doable within 14 days, I realised the email address they provided was no good. It made getting a refund seem almost impossible. I found it all very frustrating and felt like the company had let me down with their false promises.
Subscription purchase
I recently bought a two-year subscription to this software, and I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed with both the online and desktop versions. They're both quite slow and frustrating to use, especially when they're supposed to work together with Scrivener. The suggestions it gives often don't really make sense, and the whole experience just feels clunky and a bit of a drag.

I came across this online writing tool and, to be honest, I felt a bit disappointed by its limitations. It only operates in English, which was a bit frustrating. The features they claimed it had weren't quite up to scratch, and when I needed help, the support I received was not great – quite unprofessional, actually. I reached out with my concerns pretty quickly, but unfortunately, they refused to give me a refund. It left me feeling quite let down, to be honest.
Waste of money
This grammar checking app is absolutely terrible. The corrections it gives are so wrong, even a child would spot them. As a student studying Economics, using this app for my essays was a nightmare. It didn't even understand simple terms like "Macroeconomics" and tried to change "Inflation" to "initiation." The amount of errors it makes is unbelievable, and I can't believe I spent money on it. I've now started using Grammarly, which is way better in terms of accuracy and reliability.
30-day trial
I thought I'd give the 30-day trial a go, but I quickly realised it was a mistake. The writing suggestions were awkward, awful, and didn't make any sense. I asked for a refund within a day, but they refused to give my money back. I was really let down by the whole thing and won't be giving it another shot.
My annoying pop-up
There was this really irritating pop-up on the website that just wouldn't disappear unless you signed up or used the task manager. It was so frustrating because all I wanted to do was read some stuff without any extra hassle. I reckon it's pretty poor form from a company that should know better.
Online writing tool feedback
I recently gave a go at using this online writing tool, and I have to say, it wasn't the best experience. I ran into two major problems that really got in the way of my writing flow. Firstly, when I pasted my text into the online tool, all my formatting went haywire. It deleted spaces, added random breaks, and basically turned my work into a mess. I had to spend ages fixing everything up after using this software, which was super annoying. Secondly, the integration with Google Docs was a nightmare. Random sections of text would get underlined for no apparent reason, and sorting out these issues was a real pain. The tool kept crashing, and the interface was a mess - there was a big, distracting label blocking my view as I tried to write. While I can see some potential in this app, these fundamental problems need sorting out before I'd even think about using it again. At the moment, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for writing tools that give a smoother experience.
Editing assistant app
The editing assistant app is a real pain. It keeps popping up annoying windows that cover the text I'm trying to work on, disrupting my flow. The suggestions it gives are all messed up, mixing my original words with its own changes. And I can't even get rid of the app easily, it's like a clingy pest on my system. It could be helpful with its smart features, but it fails to consider what the user really needs. It's just a let-down, not living up to what it's supposed to do.
