    Holiday to Barbados

    May I satrt with saying this was our second holiday booked through Love Holidays, the 1st went very smoothly and we were extremely happy. The 2nd which was to Barbados was booked in January, well before Covid-19 took over the world, we paid our deposit followed by monthly installments. When it came to deciding whether to go or not in these troubled times I looked on thier website for information, it said that they would contact me 10 prioer to travel with an option to travel or not, this they did and we said that we would like to cancel for a full refund, they replied saying we would get a full refung minus our flights which we would get if and once the airline had refunded them, we have now received both refunds well within the timescales that they said and only 17 days after our original departure date. Well done Love Holidays we will have no hesitation in booking with you in the future

    i am so angry at love holidays , they canceled my holiday in January and I still have not got my refund they gave me a fake transaction code what I gave to my bank as they stated they had refunded me and the bank told me that is no way a transaction code , I screen shotted the messages but refund was meant to have been sent in march ? still nothing and my bank still have not had any payment , so still waiting what a joke do not use these !!

    Hol booked in June 2020 to fly Sept 2020, cancelled due to COVID, still waiting for flights refund, in Dec2020, loveholidays entered into agreement with CMA, to refund all monies by 31 March 2021.
    Still waiting....... Contacted CMA, it seems they can’t enforce it, or deal with individual cases, waste of time by government beaurocrats.

    Have just returned from a package holiday booked through Love Holidays to Kos staying at the Kipriotis Maris Suites in Psalidi.
    Although the company was very efficient leading up to the holiday and the hotel and transport were excellent we were very disappointed not to have seen or been contacted by any representative of the company once leaving kos airport at the start of our holiday and it is fortunate that the hotel staff were so efficient it almost felt we were just left to it so despite the current restrictions much improvement required in this area.

    this company is criminal

    7 day package holiday to Dubrovnik, Croatia

    Just booked a week's holiday to Croatia with a Love Holidays travel consultant named Georgina. The booking was easy and straight forward. Georgina was very helpful, informative and extremely professional. In fact she went above and beyond with her information about bedrooms and weather in particular. I received all travel documents etc within minutes of booking. I highly recommend this travel company and would not hesitate to book with them again.

    i cancelled as i had no internet so could not get in touch they offered me another hotel in a different location i didnot want i understand i should have spoken to them first but i panicked as i was feeling sick going away at this time -booked and paid for holiday in january- now no one will answer my emails i will not be booking with them again always used them last few years last year brilliant when thomas cook went refund straight back

    Its very easy to plan holidays where i can utilize my days in enjoying instead of knowing what i need to do and what to not. love holidays is really amazing and super easy for those who dont really like planning so much.

    Was suppose to go on holiday 15th March to Benidorm it was on lock down and the flight home cancelled not heard anything can I change this to a later date what happens now

    my holiday was canceled in may and still waiting for a full refund love holidays are ajoke

    worst travel company ever

    i took out a small claims via the small claims court , very easy ALL done online for £60.00 and all costs are refunded when your judgement is upheld. I instructed Bailiffs ( again without charges as my case was upheld) ALL MONIES AND COSTS PAID , do not let these crooks rip you off .TAKE EM TO COURT .

    Eg, cancelled thomas cook flight and cancellation due covid.

    We had so many issues with our hotel - and went with a package specifically so that this could be resolved if there were any problems. This really didn’t happen and I will never be using love holidays again. You’re honestly just a number and they have total disregard for you being on holiday and your time being precious.

    Specific issues with the hotel:
    - unreliable hot water in the room
    - there was mould in the bath whirlpools
    - the main larger pool area/bar is closed
    - the larger pool is unclean, green with algae
    - the smaller pool that is open is also ...,
    - there is very little food options to meet dietary requirements, the salad is frozen. We have spoke to the chef, who was rude to us
    - everything is tinned or frozen including salad and fruit
    - the dining area is unclean and your are expected to drink from plastic children’s beakers
    - there is limited staff, unable to get drinks as and when although it is "all inclusive".
    - snack bar is closed, there are two flavours of dry cake left on the bar from breakfast this is uncovered and often had flys nearby
    - the wifi is only available in reception and dining room and signal is poor
    - there is what looks like blood smeared on our wardrobe
    - there is some unknown grease stain on the bathroom wall
    - the sunbeds are build from chip board and very unsturdy
    - there is no hand soap available in any bathroom including the hotel room
    - you are not allowed to keep glasses in to the bedroom, meaning no water in the night
    - there are cats everywhere, while they’re cute they beg you for the food constantly (at least someone enjoys it)

    We called on the beach twice and sent them photos

    We tried our best to raise the issues with the manager of the hotel who was rude and refused to acknowledge anything wrong at all or discuss a refund (via love holidays) but she wouldnt even speak to us.

    We called them again but We got no help from on the beach. following another night we moved ourselves as waiting for them would have ruined our holiday.

    We advised them of this move. In total we paid 1200 for our holiday, which I recognise was (what we thought) a good deal - this was due to us booking in lock down. 820 of this was for the hotel. We have been refunded 400. This is less than half and we only stayed their 3 nights.

    There was no matter of urgency to help us and no understanding that this was a holiday. We are both nurses and worked through the Covid. Only to be treated like cattle by this company.

    I will be speaking to a financial ombudsman when I am home, as they promised a service and did not provide it. We were so horrified and to be refunded half for less that a quarter of our stay (3 out of 14 nights) is a joke.

    I’m hoping we can resolve this further once we are home

    do not normally write reviews but PLEASE READ on THIS IS IMPORTANT*****PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY
    I am deeply disappointed by the customer service received by this company. I booked a holiday using the credit card that I had recently changed to my married name. Love holidays automatically booked my flight tickets in the same name which does not appear on my passport. I called to tell them about this and they said 'you are to blame you should have read the small print' I explained that I had not at any point suggested to them that this is the name I would use for the airline booking as my passport was in my maiden name. I asked to speak to a manage and they said ' we cannot put you through to managers' at no point did they offer any apology or any kindness, the customer care was truly awful and I found the whole call very upsetting to the point I said I wanted to complain. I was told 'fine the details are on the website'. I asked for the call handlers name and she said we do not give last names.
    In summary please be careful when you book online-this updates your air line tickets immediately, without notifying you.
    Customer care is awful, there are no available managers to help with issues and you are likely to be spoken to in an abrupt manner.
    This whole experience has been really upsetting on a human level and I now have to pay £100 to the airline to change my name and another £25 admin fee to LOVE HOLIDAY for an administrative error that I was not even aware of.
    if you are thing of booking with this company forget it- go to a reputable company who will show you care (even if its your fault kindness goes a long way)
    LOVE HOLIDAY? ruin holiday would be more appropriate-you need to train your staff in customer care, employ some managers and make your administrative procedures much, much clearer, instead of grabbing peoples upfront and letting them down with a huge bump.

    The worst company ever. No empathy when it comes to a situation that prevents you from travelling due to covid restrictions at destinations. If the hotel is open, then you can't get a refund or they won't waiver the cancellation fee for you. Horrendous company and avoid like the plague

    Due to COVID, we have unfortunately had to cancel our holiday. Love Holidays provide no consideration for such circumstances, unlike other companies which charge more for a holiday. What was most shocking is that we've been charged £533 to cancel, which is slightly under what we've paid for the holiday. Their T&C's do set out that refunds aren't available, but to stick to their normal procedures during times of uncertainty is unbelievable. For a company to run their policies like this during this time is utterly embarrassing and I will certainly not be using love holidays in the future.

    Nightmare company.
    Pose as a holiday company and they are only booking agents in reality.
    Lots of monkies behind computers.
    My trip was cancelled so waiting until the end of time to sort it. Had a first refund then told the final balance would be refunded in order of departure date. Fair enough.
    Buy why did the monkies take the final payment for the trip even though it was cancelled and I had already received part of a refund. Spoke to the credit control monkies only to be told I have to wait up to 28 days for that refund.
    When I said this was unacceptable as I would incur interest charges on my credit card she asked why I would be charged interest. I'll leave that one there.
    I've had to go to Mastercard to set up a retrieval of funds with these thieves

    10 day holiday to Tenerife

    We booked our regular winter holiday to Tenerife in March 2020 for February 2021.
    We realised by January this year that the 3rd lockdown would prevent us travelling. Ryanair cancelled the flight in January and we waited for Love-holidays to contact us. We did this to ensure they cancelled the holiday so they couldn’t accuse us of doing so. The Pathetic website only had 2 options in “ Manage my Booking “ cancel or change! Given the significance of the pandemic the company appeared to put everything in place to shirk out of its legal responsibilities. We were protected by ABTA as we booked prior to LH withdrawing its membership in September 2020. Another ploy to get out of paying saddened disappointed travelers who had entrusted their hard earned cash. They did contact us and paid into my account the staggering amount of £1.10 pence! The additional £440 we were told was to be applied for to Ryanair. We did this and had to do so by post with copies of everything including passport details because the booking was made by LH.
    Despite Ryanair having a poor reputation we found them to be excellent and we did receive our money. However, Love Holidays were absolutely appalling “ hiding behind the sofa with their hands over their ears” trying everything in their power to avoid interaction with stressed, upset families and couples dealing with so much. Shame on you ! You truly deserve to Go Bust. If anyone reads this: pass in the warning Love Holidays are neither honest or credible. Book a holiday with them at your own risk, the outcome will be poor disappointing and frustrating.

    Awful experience and poor customer service. You pay for a service and you need to keep chasing them. Some of the times that I call them I was on the phone waiting for 1 hour.

    Extremely rude customer service representatives and one of them is definitely Miss Nicki.

    I will definitely not recommend this company to my family and friends.

    Simply the worst!!!

    The worst experience i have have ever had with Love Holidays, they don't answer the phone or emails. They know all the tricks when it comes to not refunding your money. I'won't go into too much boring detail as to what happened but this company should be investigated as to their business practices. Very poor customer service. STAY CLEAR
