    Breakdown assistance service

I've been using ASDA for quite a while now, and everything was going pretty well until the other day. I accidentally left my lights on during a TEAMS meeting in my car, and, as a result, my battery died. So, I gave them a call for assistance. After jumping through all the hoops and loops, they informed me that they wouldn't be able to help because I was deemed 'negligent' for leaving the lights on. I mean, accidents happen, right? All they did was provide me with a list of local garages to contact. Not the best way to handle things, if you ask me. Looks like I'll need to find someone else for my breakdown needs in the future. What a shame, really.

    Motorcycle breakdown in Belgium

I'm afraid my motorcycle broke down in Belgium because of an accident. I got a broken collarbone and an undiagnosed punctured lung, and there were no other vehicles involved. I was in a lot of pain and had to sort out my own way back to the UK, as instructed. But I had trouble with messages not getting through from the UK to the European office. Also, they said my bike might need to go to a garage before being brought back home. All in all, I wasn't happy with the whole situation and wouldn't suggest using this company.

HOPE YOU NEVER BREAK DOWN !!

Vehicle electronic ignition lock failed. Called out Qdos who wanted additional £95.00 to recover it to home (fair enough, my choice). However they then charged an additional £136.00 to put the front wheels on skids to move round as steering had locked. Claimed this as "specialist recovery equipment". What a load of bull. Nowhere in their policy does it say this. The only specialist equipment is if it has left the road. Driver was stranded for 5 hours and paid up just to get home. Currently fighting Qdos for a refund. I'd go to the AA from now on.
