This company was an absolute nightmare to deal with. I had a terrible experience with them from beginning to end. The customer service was just terrible, with really rude and unhelpful staff who didn't seem interested in actually helping me with my purchase. The ordering process was so confusing and tedious, with instructions that weren't clear and a website that was not at all user-friendly. The prices were just outrageous, with costs that made me feel like I was being ripped off. And on top of all that, the delivery was delayed multiple times, so I was left without the tyres I needed for much longer than I expected. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Ordered 2 tyres, one on December 10th and the other on December 13th
I thought I was being smart ordering my tyres early to avoid pothole trouble, but my bad luck with potholes never ends! The tyres were meant to come on the 21st but no sign yet. I called and they said they'd be late, might not even show up before Christmas. So it looks like I'll be home alone with no new tyres to enjoy. If they don't fix this soon, I'll be really annoyed. And even if they do come eventually, getting them fitted on time will be a real challenge.
Two tyres from Tyres.Net
I recently bought two tyres from Tyres.Net, and my experience was a bit of a mix. At first, I was drawn to the website because they had free delivery and prices that were much lower than other places I'd seen. But after I ordered, I got a few emails from different names, which made me a bit cautious. I looked up some reviews of the website and found some negative feedback, which made me anxious that I might have been scammed. Despite my worries, I decided to wait and see how things turned out.
Rushed purchase
I made a mistake by ordering from this company - I really wish I hadn't. The website led me to believe they were a UK-based business with super-fast delivery, but I was totally wrong. After ordering, I got an email saying my delivery would take 14 days, not the 2 I had expected. To make matters worse, I discovered the tyres were actually being shipped from Germany, not the UK as I had thought. It felt like a total let-down and I felt like they had been dishonest with me right from the beginning. I definitely won't use them again and I advise others to stay away too.
Delayed overseas delivery
I bought some tyres from this website thinking they'd arrive within a couple of days, but it's been 10 days and still no sign of them. After getting in touch with customer service, turns out my tyres are stuck in customs and might take another week to reach me. If I'd known they were coming from overseas, I would've gone with a local supplier to avoid this long wait.
Set of tyres ordered
I checked out Tyres.Net and it seems like one of those websites where you can compare prices for tyres. It was really simple to use and I ended up buying a new set of tyres. There were plenty of different companies listed and you could see the estimated delivery times (I think?). But the thing is, all the companies seemed to be connected to a place in Witney called Deltilog \ Delticom. And then I discovered that they actually own Tyres.Net, which was a bit surprising. I decided to look at the reviews on trustpilot and it turns out that most of the other companies had bad reviews regarding their delivery and customer service. Not ideal, really.
Emergency replacement tire
I had a really bad time trying to buy a new tyre quickly from this website. My tyre got punctured and I needed a replacement urgently, so I trusted the website's promise that it would be delivered in 2 business days. But then I got an email saying it would actually take 2 weeks for delivery. This mix-up caused me a lot of hassle and annoyance.
