Subscription misunderstanding
I signed up for a month, but then got charged for another month because of automatic renewal, which wasn't made clear when I signed up. So, I gave them a call to try and sort it out, but they just said I wasn't eligible for a refund.
Relationship site
This website isn't really the place to find true love, to be honest. A lot of folks on here seem to be more interested in scamming you or just after a quick hook-up. It's pretty rare to come across someone genuine. And if you're not satisfied with the service, good luck trying to get a refund. It's all just a bit of a waste of time and money, really.
Unsubscribing from emails
I've tried to unsubscribe from this company's emails several times now but it's not working. This morning I tried for the third time to stop getting their emails, but they just keep coming. If this carries on, I might have to use some strong language to make them stop.
Waste of money
I wouldn't recommend spending your money on this site at all. It's just full of annoying ads and fake profiles. I ended up forking out nearly £70 for a 3-month subscription and I regret it completely. I feel so foolish for not reading reviews beforehand. The whole site is filled with fake users sending messages and strange photos. I really wish I had donated that money to charity instead.
Unwanted and invasive messages
I'm really upset about getting these unwanted and inappropriate messages from them with a link to their website. It's worrying because I've never even interacted with them before. They shouldn't have my personal details like my name and location without asking me first - it's not right and goes against GDPR rules. What's frustrating is that I can't even block these messages because there's no phone number to contact them. This situation has made me feel like my privacy has been invaded, and now I'm worried about how secure my personal information is.
Online dating scam
I signed up on the website looking to meet new people and maybe even find someone special. However, it didn't take long for me to figure out that the whole site was a scam. The women's profiles looked too perfect and when I talked to a few of them, it was clear they weren't who they said they were. They would always ask for money or act suspiciously. When I tried to get more information from them, they would dodge the question or disappear completely. One of them even pretended to be a woman on the phone, but admitted they were actually a man when I called them out. Their photos were obviously stolen from models, and their chat responses seemed rehearsed. I blocked them all and decided to warn others about this dodgy site.

The site layout was a bit confusing, with big ads that looked like buttons.
Membership cancellation issue
This website is absolutely terrible! I've been trying to cancel my membership but it's just impossible. There are loads of fake profiles offering dodgy services, not to mention all the annoying adverts everywhere. The customer service is a complete joke, they've been no help whatsoever. My advice would be to steer clear and not even consider signing up!

Urban Social is an absolute con, they just take your cash and don't deliver on their promises. The customer service is basically non-existent, and the site is full of spam and fake profiles. I'd steer clear of them if I were you!
Unauthorized Use of Old Dating Profile
Don't use Urban Social, they've been using old dating profiles without permission. My mate came across an advert with my old snap and personal details from 15 years back on their site. It's really shocking and not on at all. There's a chance someone might be pretending to be me. I've reached out to the data protection team to get my profile taken down.

I was pretty disappointed with the dating services on this platform. Loads of fake profiles, and genuine users just weren't replying. The whole website felt pretty dead, just filled with ads. Even though I shelled out some cash for the services, it just didn't feel right and I was left unsatisfied. I remember using this platform about seven years back and it was alright then, but now it's just a whole different story.
