    Pre-paid subscription

    So, yeah, last year I signed up for a yearly subscription with this random company (haha), and I only received one box before they went silent. I did try sending them emails, but eventually gave up, thinking I wouldn't see my money again. However, they were taken over and started advertising again, so I messaged them to claim the rest of my boxes. They provided me with a code for the remaining 11 boxes. I was a bit hesitant about sharing my bank details, but after receiving two boxes without any extra charges, I felt more at ease. The boxes haven't been mind-blowing, but I'm hopeful they'll improve. I'll continue with the subscription for now, just to see how it goes.

    I stopped being confused of what beauty products really fit me the day I discovered Birchbox. Before then, I used to do my beauty and skincare shopping by myself and most times I got confused and ended up buying the wrong products. So what I did was to subscribe to their services and supplied them necessary information about myself. Now I stay and receive well examined products delivered to me based on my needs. Products such as skincare, fragrances, makeup, cosmetics items and more. These are products that when I use them in their respective areas, give me the best results. I like and appreciate Birchbox a lot for the wonderful services.

    Birchbox Experience

    I've just had a bit of a mixed experience with this company to be honest. There was a slight issue with my order at first, but the new owners came in and sorted things out pretty quickly. They were really good with keeping in touch and they seemed genuinely sorry for the hassle. Even though there was a delay in getting the June boxes out, I could see that they were really making an effort to fix all the problems that had been caused by the old owners.

    3-month Birchbox subscription

    I used to subscribe to Birchbox, so I thought I'd try their 3-month subscription. I was a bit disappointed this time. I only got 2 out of the 3 boxes I paid for, and they were late. To make matters worse, the contents were almost the same in both boxes. It was really disappointing compared to my previous good experiences with Birchbox. Overall, based on my recent experience, I wouldn't recommend this subscription.

    Late deliveries, repeated items, cancelling subscription

    Can you believe it? I mean, November's box doesn't come until December, and December's box arrives in January! And don't even get me started on the advent calendar items - sure, they're nice, but receiving the same items over and over again is just plain lazy. I was really looking forward to trying out some new products, but now I'm just feeling frustrated.

    So, it seems like Birchbox UK is following Pink Parcel's example. I've been a loyal subscriber for nearly six years, and I must say, I'm really disappointed with how things have turned out. The lack of communication, suddenly disappearing from social media, and not delivering products after taking our money is just shady. It's a shame to see how the company has dealt with this situation, leaving both customers and employees in a difficult position. Hats off to those who avoided the issues with the advent calendar, I suppose sometimes it's better not to know. It's surprising how there's total silence on social media about this whole mess.

    Re-subscription disappointment

    I've just resubscribed after a three-year break and let me tell you, I was completely taken aback. Those adorable collectible boxes are a thing of the past, now it's all plain packaging. And to top it off, I got the exact same samples that I received three years ago - can you believe the lack of creativity? Oh, and let's not even discuss the ridiculously late delivery, talk about disappointing service.

    Prepaid 3-month subscription

    I paid in advance for a 3-month subscription back in February and I even personalised my box. But, after trying to get in touch with the support team because I hadn't heard anything for weeks, I was let down when all I got was a tracking email on March 8 saying that a label had been made. The lack of communication and the delays in sending out the box really got on my nerves. If you want speedy service, this might not be the right company for you.

    Annual subscription replacement box

    I wouldn't bother signing up for their yearly plan. Even though they said they'd send a new box after the company went under, it's been more than a week and I still haven't received anything. The tracking number they gave me doesn't work, and the delivery company has no idea where my package is. Looks like the new owners are just as useless as the old ones - what a mess!

    I'm absolutely gobsmacked by what happened to me. I'd been a faithful customer and they treated me terribly! I pre-ordered the advent calendar, paid for it, and then the company went under without refunding me. To top it off, they reinstated my subscription without my permission, charged me extra, and only sent one box. I've attempted to reach out via email but they're just not bothered. It's incredibly rude!

    My time with the subscription service has been quite disappointing. At first, I was happy with the products nicely packed and the different items in each box. But after a while, things went downhill. The company stopped communicating with me properly, and I had problems with them taking my payments without sending me anything in return. I tried to contact them many times for help, but I was just met with silence and it was really frustrating. When I finally got a package, it was badly handled and the products were not great quality.

    I'm pretty disappointed with the subscription box service from this company. The customer service isn't great - it feels like it's all done by robots, which has caused a lot of problems with my account. I'm getting charged £15 every month, but I'm missing two boxes that should have been sent by now. On top of that, the stuff in the boxes was low quality and lots of it was stuff I'd already received. I signed up for a 12-month subscription in 2022, and I'm really not happy with how things have gone so far. I'm looking into how I can make a formal complaint about this company because they've not been very professional or good at managing their customers' accounts.

    Gift subscription issue

    I bought my friend a year-long gift subscription to Birchbox last year. Sadly, there were loads of problems with the delivery and service. Even though I paid for a whole year, my friend only got three boxes in total. We tried loads of times to sort it out, but it just didn't work. It's really disappointing and annoying. The fact that Birchbox didn't communicate properly, broke promises, and couldn't make things right has left us feeling really let down. It's pretty sad to see such rubbish customer service and delivery from a company like Birchbox.

    Bad box

    I received a box from this company and honestly, it was the worst experience ever! I placed my order ages ago and it took forever to arrive. When it finally got here, it was disappointing. Just some mediocre samples and nothing great. I mean, really, other companies provide full-size products! And to make matters worse, they forgot to include one of the items they promised in the box. Honestly, I would not recommend spending your money here.
